Are you gonna fix the weather thing? Everytime I save my game, the weather becomes foggy and enter vehicle to set it to toodamnhot.

 

It's pretty disturbing.

 

And why don't you change Claude model into Tommy Vercetti? Like.. convert Tommy from VC to this mod.

What do you want?

Every time nice weather or

the original weather change system without weather preset by using vehicles or

the original weather change system with a weather controle feature ?

 

Tommy model ?

We are not able to convert ped-dff. Its realy difficult.

The only ped-dff mods I know is the Gorilla mod and the Holla Girl.

Hmm, I prefer Vice City weather, and maybe some rain too.

Don't use fog, not fit. Cloudy, sunny and rain is okay to me.

 

But it's a good idea to add a weather control feature next version so you can set what weather you want, example. I want sunny weather, I use the feature. Set it to sunny, and that weather will frozen, means would not be changed.

 

Anyway, I'm making a video of San Vice. Will give you a link when completed tounge.gif.

This is the Mod Menu in Car.

With standart San Andreas setting you can open this with "horn (?) + handbreak".You can do crazy thinks with this.

But I'm not sure if "horn (?) + handbreak" is right.You can look in the Oceandrive Hotel.There is an info Icon with help on how to open it.This "modding" was also included in Beta1 but there wasn't the english translation confused.gif

The option "NORMAL WEATHER" restore the weather to original SA-weather change system

Note:

There are some other main features which set the weather and by ending of those features

the weather also will restored to the original SA-weather change system

The weather setting function by using vehicles is deleted

Additional changes:

-Other cloth skin at Golf Club

-Correction of text entry in tool shop: shovel>>baseball bat

This is the best total conversion mod I played for SA tounge.gif.

 

I love the hot air balloon, or.. what you call that thing?

Was flying hydra, I thought I could fly through that balloon. But then my plane exploded, it's solid. tounge2.gif

 

I notice you changed the Police Car abit, it's still ugly though. (No offense)

Suggest you convert Police Car from VC, that's the best thing. Maybe remove the Police Rancher also as it's not suitable.

 

I'm just trying to help to keep this mod better because I like this mod a lot wink.gif.

Original SA weather system, meaning it's not being controlled. The weather system as usual like SA.

 

If you don't want to control the damn weather, then don't do it. Stop forcing us not to use that feature.

And note to you guys, when you're doing the first mission, Rolling Rockets, and using ZAZ's guide.

Careful when you're driving through Starfish Island road, because there is a ped path bug, where the car sometimes drive VERY fast. As if it's teleporting, when it hit your cargo it will explode.

 

Took me whole day to do this mission, till' now. I still haven't completed, well actually I did, but right after the outro, my fecking game crashed!! mad.gifmad.gifmad.gif

EDIT : OMFG, second time I complete the mission, after the outro, I crash again. Why?!?!

Oh man, thats aching. I tested a lot, never had problems with the outro or the mission complete part.

The game have sometimes random crashs. Dont know whats the reason. Also can´t recognize similarity of crash situations.

Could be caused by whole map change or by the paths. Also we had in earlier beta version massiv problems with an objekt limit.

At the end of the mission is a script part that release the whole stuff, both if faile or complete.

The actor Cloude, the cars and lot of objekts. And then other objekts will be spawned which was temporary deleted during the mission.

And at the end the special extern script which handle the enemies will be disabled.

A really undercovered big scenario. But what should say. I tested the mission a lot, in much different situatuion.

The most unstable part was when the corgo explode. Go there, start the mision and blow up the cargo.

Do it again as often as possible. At one trail it is possible at 10 time. By another trail only for 3 times.

Maybe the performance will be overtax for a moment.

Whats up with your hardware configuration ? Enough speed ? Enough RAM ?

Did the Outro work right? Did the Cargobob reached the ocean? Could you hear the SA titel music ? Did you get the mission complete message before it crashed ?

I have 1 GIG of RAM, I play at lowest setting in SA, AA off, 1280 x 1024 res

 

And the Outro, the Cargobob drive from the Airport until Washington. Then after that is a camera-mode, showing Ocean Beach. I think it's fine, and yes, could hear the SA music.

I completed the mission, after the outro, it says, Mission Passed. Reward $1mil or something. Then crashed.

 

I get the message GTA has encountered problem or something, the common message when you crashed.

 

Bugs/Errors :

Look at the path, follow my arrow. Cause the path for that road is incorrect. If you play VC, you drive to VC Mainland. There is one long road, from Docks to downtown.

You see, its difficult to detect a reason for the crash. The script works very well.

I believe the game sometimes can´t handle the rebuilding of the objekts.

 

The strange paths, yes the bugs are known.

Make paths is the biggest problem in GTA. We are glad that there is which ones at all.

You should remove the vigilante from the hydra as it is really useless. Because the suspects are on the road while you are on the air, you need to fly to chase them. I know there is hover mode or hunter, but the vigilante screw the plane landing gear.

When you want to retract the gear, the key also activates vigilante.

 

May I know why you add vigilante missions for few vehicles (non-police) like NRG? Just question. lol.gif

To cancel Vigilante while flying hydra press Horn+Handbrake (same like calling modmenue in vehicle)

 

I loved playing Vigilante in Vice City but I missed the music in the police cars.

So I modified the script as I like. Can be played with a faster bike and with a caprio.

More chance to get a other vehicle if you lose one. Also modified the time counter because in original SA the time is very short.

I'm impressed of this picture I took when there was a gang fight going outside Umberto Robina's cafe, the man who was eating looked outside to see what is going on. wow.gif

As mentioned again, the police car in San Vice is ugly (no offense and sorry). You should convert it from Vice City to San Andreas like VC2SA mod, they converted the VC Cop Car to the mod which is nicely done. And remove the rancher from San Vice as it's not suitable.

 

Question: ZAZ and Goldkiller, you both are the only active modder for San Vice atm?

Police fixed:

Police funktion fixed by modified map.zon

A change of the police ranger was not the solution because of the handling, carcols and sound settings.

 

The converted VC-policecar is still available in SanVice_Beta2 as copcarvg

The new map.zon defines the most part of SanVice as LV to let the cops appear in copcarvg

The airport area is defined as LS area. There appear the cops in copcarla.

To change the color of copcarla, open the GTA_SANvice\data\carcols.dat

 

search for

copcarla, 1,44

 

and change it to

copcarla, 44,1

 

The map.zon-change won´t work with already available savegames.

You have to start a new game!!

 

In addition new cop models are downloadable:

Sometimes the game freeze after 5 minutes. An other time you can play 2 hours.

The main script is working right.

One bad argument we have. It´s the model "shovel". It is invalid. That means, by carambolage on the street, peds want to fight with shovel and then crash.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is a map object or col that is causing my issue, as it freezes whenever I am getting on the beach near north point mall, or on the way if I take the road.

 

It is not an LOD causing this, pretty sure it is going to be something on the beach out there near the rocks.

 

You know where you have the dune buggy spawning?

 

Well, go hop into it, then drive forward and do a U-Turn to the right onto the grass and drive toward the beach. Hard shutdown usually required confused.gif

 

Otherwise though, this map looks ACE in the SA engine, and I hope to see this mod blossom further!

I noticed that when I lower my screen resolution and the draw distance the likelihood of my game crashing decreases... does any else noticed this?
