keneticpest Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Please, can some one help me? San Vice freezes so much, I sometimes just lose interest in playing it because I know it will freeze. I don't know what the problem is, SA runs fine on my computer. I love the mod but the amount of times it has frozen, just makes it tedious to play. I'm playing Beta 3 for quite some time and got very annoyed with the crashes, as it freezes almost half time I load a game (I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del). I noticed that it crashes mainly on loading screen or when driving a car with very high speeds (e.g. Infernus, Cheetah, etc). So I downloaded Beta 2 and made a save. Then I roamed around to see what's new different in it, and I found a very few things on my own. The police cars mainly - they were using the San Andreas model and a few other vehicles were from San Andreas (that I didn't see in Beta 3). And the timecyc seems different. I drove with high speeds just to see if it crashes. Nope. Then I exited and started the game time after time just to see it crash. NOPE. I did that at least 10 times, but no crashes at loading screen. Finally I got a crash when I got chased by police. I hid in the strip club and the last thing I heard was a car crashing in the wall. Just once in about 2 hours. I'm not an expert, but I think the reason why Beta 3 crashes so often is that it has a lot of cars ported from Vice City (such as the police car) and the spawning of cars/ damaging of cars in general. Junior GTA MAN Posted March 24, 2012 Share Posted March 24, 2012 This mod is awesome and i love it but there is problem that when i starts the game and in movie it shows cj coming in the plane and after it it lands and toomy vercetti is standing besides the limousine and then game hangs so i skips the movie.
