Well we've got some more pictures to work with.  I found the pictures that may be useful:

 

I also started identifying buildings on one of the pictures.  There are some new buildings.  Also it seems that the Hearst Tower is missing from this view.  It should be visible, but I don't see it.

 

42 = 3 World Financial Center (possibly 2 World Financial Center)

43 = Wolworth Building

44 = Municipal Building

dronezero... it looks like number 44 in your picture there is the city hall building.

The Manhattan part is fine but it does need a little increase in size...

 

BUT the Brooklyn part needs MORE size...

 

This is about size not LOOK because Driver Parallel Lines had a terrible look on Real life new york city...

They won't. The first time we'll see the map is when the actual game is released, if any of the previous GTA's are anything to go by.

Yep, the Los Santos map was revealed on the official site in August, 2 months before the game was released. San Fierro was revealed about a month later, and then Las Venturas was revealed (and hence the full map) about a week before the game was released.

Really? In that case I stand corrected. But Rockstar seem to be even more scretive about this one, so still I wouldn't be getting my hopes up too much.

Well that pretty much sums up the last 30 odd pages!

 

I remember the whole GTA SA map fiasco when they released los santos, then san fierro, then the german site accidently put up a first draft of las venturas on the site weeks before it was supposed to be shown. Its a shame gta iv has been pushed into next year or we may have had a glimpse of the map and a sence of size by now

yo i hav found out sumthing that might help us out alot and everybody took it for granted.

look in trailer 2 wen u cud see the 69st diner. since i am a nyc native i noe dat all bouroughs hav different streets; 50st in queens is diffrent frum 50st in brooklyn which is diffrent frum 50st in manhatten etc.

so since we now noe that the diner is in broker that tells us that broker is at least 69 blocks long and cud be a lot bigger. that is way bigger than the one square mile that many people hav estimated each bourough 2 be. i think gta4 will be alot bigger than u think which each bourough being plenty square miles big. i hav no official info this is just a prediction but i think i am rite nd this may change many peoples perspective on how big the overall city will b

Dude i think he got the joke. He is just saying because the Diner is named 69th street, broker could have 69 blocks and probably more good theory in my book. And yeah i agree i think people are underestimating the size of the city, we are in for a treat I'm sure.
