S. Leone
If you visit this part of the expression section frequently, you'll notice I've posted a few fan fictions before. Well, so far, this is my best. And I'm sick of not getting any reply's for my work. Please people, I tired really hard on this one, it'd be awesome if I just got some relply's, and kept this story going. Grand Theft Auto: A New Ambition Vice City. The year is 2004. Vercetti Enterprises has never been bigger. All of Vice City is under Vercetti control. And is slowly but surely rising east and west. Nearly a quarter of all gambling in the west is under control of Vercetti Enterprises. The east is nothing but a Leone landmark, making it impossible to move business on it. But the Vercetti Enterprises are still growing stronger, using their main weapon on their enemies. Fear. The Vercetti Enterprises never really had an affect on Ramon Suarez. He's just a 19 year old, petty thief from Little Havana, trying to get by like every poor Cuban kid. He's done what he's had to do. He's shot, been shot at, he's stabbed, and been stabbed, stole, and has been stolen from. But one day that all changed. After getting caught in the middle of a small gang dispute, Ramon ends up being as important to the Vercetti Enterprises as any other member. He's been turned from a worthless thug into the youngest Vercetti Soldier ever. Now, he will be taken from Vice City, to San Andreas, Liberty City, Carcer City, and everywhere else around the map. Ramon's life has a new Ambition. Become Known. Even if forcing your way to the top is what takes. Chapter 1: Just another Thursday Vice City, Little Havana, 1:22 PM, June 28th 2004 The sun was beating down on the rugged land of what’s called Little Havana. The neighborhoods residents took refuge into diners and stores for the air conditioning that filled the buildings. 92° was the temperature outside, some people could stand it, as they lived in Vice City their whole lives. 4 boys of Cuban decent rested on the stoop of a small house, that wasn’t even considered a house, more of a shack. A taller boy, about the age of 19, stepped out of the shack, his eyes quickly reacted with the suns beams and shut on instant. He was about 6 foot 2, and was well built for his age. He had a low cut, with his hair line perfectly lined up. He was carrying a half empty 40 oz of Old Liberty Brew beer. He took a few more sips, than chucked the beer bottle into the street. A boy resting at the bottom step began to speak. Boy: Mang, we need to get some dough, and some girls, I’m f*cking bored to deff mang. All of the other boys looked at each other with a look of agreement. Seeing as they were all 18 or 19, living in the roughest neighborhood in Vice City, and being of Cuban decent, there wasn’t many jobs they could get. The boy who stepped out of the house began to talk. Boy: You’re rite Frankie, we should. But look at us mang, we ain’t sh*t. You expect to find something to do? I’ll do a back flip if you do find something to do. Frankie: sh*t, you ain’t got any yayo to slang, Ramon? Ramon: No, and even if I did, it’d be my cash, no yours you little f*ckin’ smart ass. A more heavier boy of the set got up and started to kick around a nearly deflated soccer ball on the dead grass. Ramon: Angel, get off the grass, it’s dead enough. Angel: So, it’s not that big of a deal. Carlos, you got any ideas? Carlos, another boy sitting on the higher part of the steps, sat on the cement chewing on his nails out of boredom. Carlos: Let’s ride around, find something to do, it’s better than sitting here. Ramon went back inside for a split second to grab his sneakers. Some old high tops, they still pulled him through though. He had a wife beater hanging over his shoulder, he fluttered it out, then put it on. He tapped Carlos on the shoulder, to get his attention Carlos: What? Ramon: Gimme the keys to the Idaho, let’s go for a ride. All of the boys got up from where they were sitting, and walked over to the side of the house, which led to a small back yard behind the rugged shack. The yard was all cement, except for one area where a small fountain and table lied, where Ramon’s mother was sitting, reading the Vice City Inquirer. She was a average set woman, in her middle years. She was wearing a long flowered dress, and reading glasses connected by chains that lead around her head. She paid no attention to Ramon and his friends getting in the Idaho, mostly because it wasn’t hers, it was her dead beat ex-boyfriends who left it to her when he skipped out on her for some lousy Latino whore. Ramon got into the drivers side, Carlos in the passenger seat. Frankie and Angel got into the back. As soon as everyone was in the car, they took off into the streets of Little Havana. Barley anyone was on the streets due to the heat. Cuban Hermes were parked on every street corner, occupied by men dressed in White vests and jeans, black and beige shirt, jeans and a black hat. The Cuban gang was stronger then ever, now being a wing of the Vercetti Enterprises. Vice City, Vice Port, 4:34 PM, June 28th 2004 It’s been 3 hours of riding around, listening to music, trying to pick up the girls that wonder around Vice City in their bikini’s, and skates. The boys are now riding around Vice port. The sky becomes dark now from roaming rain clouds, as the Idaho is driving down a long, dark alley way in the port. The part’s now occupied with 75-100 new small buildings since it’s been extended in 1998. It’s like roaming through a huge city, but with tiny buildings. In the distance, the alley is glowing pink. Ramon is the only one to extend his head, due to the reason everyone else is asleep. He slows the car down, and slowly creeps towards the glowing alley. He crosses an intersection in the alley way, and looks around to see no one is there. He keeps a steady pace, and even weight on the gas pedal so he doesn’t shoot towards the location. He’s now resting his jaw in the steering wheel, with a firm grip on it with both palms. He strolls past the corner, to notice there was a giant pink V on top of the newly finished building. It rested on cursive white letters that read “Vercetti Storage” and next to it was a glowing red sign that read “NO ROOM” meaning all of the garages were already used up. Carlos pulled into a small alley next to the building, and under a small roofing that covered the dumpsters next to the building. He turned the radio down and went to the station “Smooth 103.2” And listened to the smooth jazz play away. It was dark, only the pink glowing of the sign gave away a visible appearance of Ramon’s surroundings. Ramon reached his middle dash, and grabbed some “Leone Sweets”. They were small cigarillos with a chocolate blunt wrap. When you inhaled you had the smooth taste of strawberries and cream in your mouth, with a pleasant hint of chocolate. Ramon slowly let the pleasant sweet smoke creep out of his mouth. He closed his eyes and slowly laid his head back on the rest. Carlos was now awake, after he most likely smelled the smoke. He looked over at Ramon, with a look of sleep in his face, but still had the ability to lift his hand, take a puff of the cigarillo, and put it in the ash tray. Carlos Was sitting there, not wanting to disturb Ramon’s state of mind. The sound of rain drops hitting the scrap metal roofing above their car was a calming sound. The darkness made Carlos want to lay his head back on the window and drift off. But Ramon opened his eyes and broke his dreaming to notice Carlos was awake. Ramon: You know where we are? Carlos: (Looks around) uh, in Vice port alley’s I’m sure. It’s gonna be a bitch finding our way out of this place. Ramon: To be more correct, we’re right next to a Vercetti storage area. Carlos: (Opens his eyes even wider) You mean…The one’s that can put enough snow on this earth for a decade? Ramon: Damn Straight. Carlos: (Points) Look, a ventilation shaft. You thinking what I’m thinking? Ramon: (Smiles) I’ll pop the truck, prepare the nines. You wake the 2 sleeping beauties behind us. Ramon got out of the Idaho and continued walking towards the trunk. He felt around on the trunk until he had a grip on the handle, then pushed down and the truck went up. In the trunk wasn’t a lot. A few stacks of old newspaper wrapped in thin rope than Ramon was supposed to take to the city dump. A box of empty 12 gauge shells. And a tire iron. Ramon moved the things out of the way, and gripped a small string, opened a place in the trunk and revealed the spare tire compartment. Ramon lifted the tire, and grabbed a briefcase which lied beneath it. Setting the tire back in, he put the cover back over it, and made room in the trunk for the briefcase. *click*, *click*, Ramon opened the Briefcase to reveal 3 Colt .45’s and a 2 extra magazines for each. Ramon got the case from a crime scene, wear a hitman was killed in the act of assassinating his target. Before the police arrived, Ramon broke into the room, to see a hitman with a shattered skull, a Dragunov sitting on the window sill, and a briefcase sitting on the bed. Ramon grabbed what he could. He hid the case in the Idaho, and sold the Rifle to a Haitian gang in Little Haiti. As everyone got out of the car, he handed a gun to Carlos, and a gun to Angel. Ramon was to use a colt, but Frankie had no weapon. So Ramon took a switch blade out of his sock, and handed it to Frankie. They looked around at the black alley, as the upper dark clouds hid nearly everything. It felt like night time as they journeyed into the alley, but it was actually almost 5 in the afternoon. Angel, using his bulky yet extremely strong legs, took the opportunity to kick in the ventilation cage. The cage was big enough to walk through crouched, not on your knees. The vent was lit by dim, red light bulbs. There was only one direction for the vent. Straight. Ramon led the way to the end of the vent, and when they reached the end, he looked in, to see faded florescent lighting fill the room. As he kicked in the vent, he could see crates and crate piled high of cocaine. The gate flew off it’s hinges into the eerie grayness, and the group ran behind a mountain of cocaine. Ramon gave them a signal to stay put, as he ran across the room to the other mountain of coke. As he did that, he looked around for something to cut it with. *SHHHHHHHHHHHK CHHHH* But suddenly, the garage door opened. 4 men in black suits with pink pin stripes came into the area, and slammed the door behind them. Ramon took a deep breath, and cocked his gun. Edited March 31, 2007 by S. Coral_City
Very interesting, I would like to see where this goes. Very descriptive, yet too the point. Other than a few spelling errors and the small font -- good job man. S. Leone
Chapter 2: You’re one lucky punk Ramon looked over at his friends, behind the other mountain of coke. It seems as if they were waiting for Ramon to give them a signal to run over, but it was to risky to do that. Ramon started to sweat, out of pure fear, the fear of getting caught by Vercetti’s men. He watched, as the 4 men wondered over to a mountain of coke, stacked high with kilos, all wrapped and ready to go. The mountain Ramon’s friends were behind. Man 1: Uhh, ok, so how much did Mr. Vercetti want? Man 2: I think a Kilo. Man 1: Naw, it had to be more than that! Man: Hey, I’m the one he told it to, so shut your mother fu- Suddenly, a patriot came hauling outside of the warehouse. Out of instinct, the Vercetti men pulled their guns from their coats, all of them packing Micro Uzi’s. 5 men wearing all black suits, and black ski masks ran out from the patriots, packing Spas shotguns except 1, who had an AK-47. One of the men had a thin red line running all around his mask, which may have meant something. It suddenly turned into a yelling brawl. All about “PUT YOUR GUNS DOWN!” “f*ck YOU, YOU PUT YOUR GUNS DOWN!” Ramon kept his head slightly poked out, to watch what was happening. He kept the nose of his colt poked out also, pointed slightly at the men. Suddenly, Ramon noticed the guy with the AK at the end cocking back the hammer, slowly, and hidden so no one would notice. Within a heart beat, he rose the AK at the men, and started blasting. But to there advantage, they had a mountain of coke sitting next to them, and they got behind just in time. Ramon was relived, he thought the guy with the AK saw him. But 2 seconds later, the feeling of being relieved turned to pure devastation. The mountain which Frankie, Carlos and Angel were behind was covered in white smoke. Ramon waited for the smoke to settle, to reveal that they were all dead. The bullets from the mans AK flew straight into the mountain they were behind. A whole clip, it all went straight through the kilos of coke, into the flesh of his best friends. A tear strolled down Ramon’s cheek. His fist tightened on it’s own, and began to shake. His vision was shifting, fading, in and out, left and right. His fist jerked up on it’s own, punching the mountain next to him. Then he saw all of the men from the patriot look in that direction, and as they were distracted by the disturbance that Ramon caused, 2 Vercetti men popped up, and shot back. 2 of the men were killed, the man with the AK though ran outside into the pouring darkness of the rain, and he was gone in seconds. As for the other 2 men, they ran in Ramon’s direction, which gave him the perfect opportunity for some sweet revenge. Ramon jumped up, gripping his colt. *POP, POP, POP, POP* He put 4 bullets into one of the men’s chest, and before the other could squeeze a shot in, *POP*, he laid one down into his shoulder. Ramon quickly jumped over the coke, and ran at the man he left alive. As he was running, Ramon flipped his pistol around, so he was holding the barrel, and the butt was facing the enemy. Ramon quickly whipped the man across the face with the pistol, as blood flew everywhere. He hit the floor like a brick, holding his nose and yelling in pain. Ramon looked at him, and felt a sting of rage in his bones. He lifted his leg, and pounded in the mans head with his foot 4 times, until his skull was crushed, and he was dead. Ramon watched his blood slowly flow out of the cracks in his skull, some of the tiny rivers flowed with small pieces of brain and skull fragments. Suddenly, a muzzle flash lit the darkness outside, and the man with the AK shot all 4 of the Vercetti men as they were distracted by Ramon’s actions. “MOTHER f*ckER!” Ramon shouted out. He forgot all about that guy. He popped in a fresh new clip into his colt, and ran towards the garage door. “I’M GONNA KILL YOU, YOU f*ckING PIECE OF sh*t!” *POP, POP, POP, POP* Ramon fired where the muzzle flash once was, hoping to hit something, but he only heard the crackling of concrete. He came to a halt as his feet hit the pavement outside. He aimed his colt, out into the darkness, waving around, scared out of his mind. All he could hear was the sharp cracking of thunder in the distance, and the falling of raindrops. “Hey kid” *CRACK*. The bastard hit Ramon right in the nose with his stock. “Yo….you bas-. Basta-” Ramon fell to the ground. His eyes slowly closed, and he fell unconscious. “…What the f*ck happened!?” “He’s the only one, put him in the car” “Where’s Mr. V want him?” “Come on kid, open your eyes” Ramon could hear. He was told to open his eyes. But he couldn’t. Not all the way at least. Ramon smelled cigar smoke. As he tried to open his eyes, he saw a hazy gray figure standing above him. “You’re one lucky punk” he said. Then, Ramon closed his eyes again. “Give him some more pain killers. Once he wakes, send him to my office” Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/271751-grand-theft-auto-a-new-ambition/#findComment-4132355 Share on other sites

S. Leone
Chapter 3: Once you sign the dotted line you can never go back. Vice City, Starfish Island, 2:56 PM, June 29th 2004 Ramon awoke. He awoke from such a deep sleep, his legs couldn’t keep him up. As soon as he stood up, he feel to the ground immediately. His vision was blurry, and his eyes were irritated. He looked around to see he was in a marble room. The room was covered in a plush velvet red carpet. Pictures hung around the walls of abstract art, and pictures of what seemed to be Venice, Italy. Ramon started to sweat, his heart was beating fast and he was breathing in deep, powerful breaths. He rolled over, it felt like the room was 100°, as if he was in the middle of little Havana on a Saturday afternoon. “That’s what you get for getting up so fast, kid” Ramon looked up, to see an overweight man dressed in a black suit with pink pin stripes standing over him. “Come on”. The man lifted Ramon up, and threw his arm around his shoulders. The man carried Ramon to the door, and opened it, to reveal a long hallway in a beautiful mansion. He kept his eyes to the ground most of the time, he didn’t have the strength in his neck to life his head. A flash of Carlos and Angel came through Ramon’s head. It was them playing basketball after school, and Frankie sitting on the bench watching. Ramon’s girlfriends arms were wrapped around him, he was re visiting a memory, and he could nearly feel and touch everything. “OW!” Ramon had a sharp pain go through his whole body, and he lost all muscle abilities and fell to the ground. “You poor kid, I know what you’re going through”. The man lifted Ramon again, and continued to an office in the middle of a the hallway. The office was dark, from the paint and dimmed lights. A man sitting in a leather chair with golden lining was behind the main desk in the office, at this point, Ramon knew he was in Tommy Vercetti’s mansion. Ramon was put in a seat at the other side of the desk. He couldn’t talk at all. He was crying so hard, that he didn’t make a sound. Tommy: Thanks Aaron, you can back up for now. (Puffs Cigar)….now kid. Tell me. What happened? Ramon sat there, still crying. He was trying to open his mouth, but his jaw was stuttering to fast. Then, he couldn’t breath. Crying so hard, his body was forcing it out, which he got no time to breath. He started to make gasping noises, and coughing up saliva onto his what seemed to be hospital shirt. Tommy: Come on kid, breath, you’re gonna choke, BREATH! Aaron! Give him some Oxygen! The big man Aaron came from the back of the room with a green canister. He wrapped the face mask around Ramon’s head, and turned a lever on the canister. “Breath easy kid”. Ramon did so. In a few minutes, Ramon could breath again. He took long, deep breaths, and tried to explain himself. Ramon: We…we were in the warehouse. We wa- wanted so-, so-, some coke to hustle. We came in. Yo- Your men came in a fa- few minutes later. After th- that, a bunch of gu- guys came in in ski masks and su- su- suits. They shot at your men, but th- they dived. All of the bu- bullets went into the mountain my fri- friends were behind. I wanted re- re- revenge. I killed 2 of the men. Your men killed 2 of their men al- also. But th- then, a guy with an AK killed your men. I ra- ran out lo- looking for him, bu- but he got me first. And that’s all. Ramon broke down again, holding his head in his hands. Tommy paid no attention to him, it looked as if he was thinking about the story. He puffed his cigar, and slowly blew the smoke out of his nose. Tommy: Your story adds up with the surveillance tape. I’m glad you didn’t lie to me, cause if you did, I probably would have killed you. Ramon: (Catches breath, and coughs to help clear his throat) You mean, you’re not angry? Tommy: Well….I’m not MAD….I’m more aggravated than anything. What ever you would have stole, it wouldn’t have affected me at all. sh*t, kid, I did the same sh*t when I was your age. I stole heroine for my old boss Sonny Forelli back in the day. You’re doing what I was doing. Trying to get by. To let you know, we looked up your files and your friends files. We made it look like they were killed in a drive-by shooting. We called your mother to tell you that we found you as the only one who survived, and that we’re currently nurturing you back to normal health. Which I’m happy to do for you. You know why? Ramon: (looks up) Why? Tommy: Because you killed the grimy mother f*ckers that killed one of my top men. I don’t know what I’m going to do with out him. Ok, I got a meeting in an hour and I have to get ready. Aaron will help you get to your room. Ramon: Why…Why am I so weak? I only had my nose broken. Tommy. Oh no. Lift up your sleeves. He cut your wrists, but not deep enough. He sliced open the back of your legs to. You had a major blood loss, and you almost fell into cardiac arrest. That’s why you’re having a difficult time walking. But thankfully my men got you here in time. Go rest up. I’ll talk to you when I’m done with this meeting. Aaron walked over, and grabbed Ramon by the arms. He slowly carried him to the main offices door, where a wheel chair waited. One of the men brought it by while they were talking, this would make getting around for Ramon easier. Aaron slowly strolled him back to where he would be staying for some extended period of time. He strolled out onto the balcony, where it was a beautiful day out, and Aaron just stood next to Ramon. Aaron: Listen kid. Tommy might give you the opportunity to join the enterprises. I’m telling you to do it. sh*t, it’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. Not one person that’s ever worked for us has regretted it. (Stars walking towards the exit, to go back to the mansion0 But listen, once you sign that dotted line…you can never go back. Ramon: I wouldn’t want to. Aaron: (Chuckles) Neither would I kid, neither would I. Ramon sat on the balcony. He gazed into the beautiful crystal waters of the docks right outside of the backyard. The hypnotizing sight made Ramon drift off into a dream like state. Maybe this was it for now. Maybe, Ramon found a new life. Danni
Christ, man. S. Leone hasn't made a post since " Nov 30 2007, 01:27," according to his profile. This is why I hate you. Necromancing ancient threads to bother people to continue writing; that's just stupid. And, to top it off, S. Leone hasn't been active in ages. Quit being a newfag and don't revive any more topics. It makes people hate you. Just stick to a simple PM if you want to thank an author.
