[BA]Murdok Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 Well I have been browsing around looking for solutions but I can't seem to find what I need, or can't understand what I am looking at. But anyway, the problem I got is recently I uninstalled GTA, then reinstalled, but for some reason the GTA User Files folder wont appear for some reason. Then I go in game just to see what would happen, and the game wont save at all. So I try inserting my own custom folder with all the necessary files thanks to a friend, I put in a saved game, added some user tracks, tried again, and still, it acted as if I had no user tracks or save files AND STILL wouldn't save the game. I have no idea whats wrong with this game, Iv tried installing it 4 times already now and the folder never appears, and I get the same problems, it wont even patch anymore. Anothing weird thing is, when I uninstalled it the first time, the shortcut wouldnt go away, and it wouldnt let me delete it because it didnt exist, I later got rid of this but it was really odd. Here are my specs so you guys can help me out, I need it badly... Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate (never had problems with it until now) Graphics Card: BFG Geforce 7900 GTX Factory Overclocked with 512 video mem Processor: AMD Athlon Dual Core 4200+ RAM: 1gb Please someone get to me as soon as possible, I'd appreciate the help. [BA]Murdok Posted April 3, 2007 Author Share Posted April 3, 2007 Well, if it helps, I used hex editor and changed personal to gtasasave and it was able to save again, but after searching for all files (including hidden) i cant find it. Im thinking maybe the actual folder is compressed in another file somewhere in my gta folder, but I dont know, not smart enough to find it...
