Editing Vehicles

I use GTASA Ultimate Editor created by The killa to edit my vehicles. When i raised the engine acceleration 2000 and velocity to 2340 for the vehicle flash it worked well! but when i raised the gear from 5 to 9 the vehicle ceded to exist in the game. now i cant find it anywhere and when i raised the gears lower it came back can anyone tell why we cant raise the number of the gears

I think that there is a limit of how many gears a vehicle can have.

Yup there is a limit, and if im not mistaken, correct me if im wrong the gears are just the number off diffent sound pitchs used while accelerating not the actual number the car has...

basically have you ever seen a car with more than 5 gears? its possible but not very common. i think the limit in san andreas is 5, or 6

Many many cars have 6 gears. Some have 7, and the most I know about is 8. But many have 6, and a sh*t load nowadays have 5.

 

As for the game, max is 5. Why the hell would you need 9 anyways?? Lol

Aye, afaik 5 is the max. All the number of gears seems to do is let you reach top speed quicker (Hell, some experiments I did it was impossible for me to climb a hill with one gear but it was a rocket with 2 gears!)
