Why do I get money for crashing into cars?

Recommended Posts

You do in the ps2 version I think, its because it was like that in gta2 where you got money for doing anything bad really, like running over people and crashing into cars and stuff. When R* made Vice city, I guess they didnt like the idea anymore.

It was just a dorky thing they had, because money didn't really mean anything. Now in the later games, money is harder ot get and there are more uses for it.

I assume the concept had been carried over from the earlier 2d GTA games, where the main idea was to more or less cause mayhem in the city (if I recall right; it's been several years).

As stated above, it's not really that crucial and not worth a whole lot in the game anyway. As long as you have enough green to cover guns and armor, you're set for whatever Liberty throws at you.

Yes, especially with the $10,000 minimum reward per mission. Pretty stupid. confused.gif

You don't... You get money for blowing up cars, though.

On the contrary, you do.

I play GTA3 for the PC, I get a cash bonus for every fender bender...

I can only assume Claude has some kind of insurance claims extortion scheme going. tounge2.gif
