"Things will be different"

Recommended Posts

1) You play as more than one main character. After a few missions as one character, you switch over to another character and see things from his or her point of view, and you even interact with that first character that you were controlling before. And then after a few missions, you switch to another character after that and so forth, so you see things in the eyes of more than one person. Maybe in one of the missions, your current character gets killed and then you switch to another character. You may or may not get to choose how you switch characters. Either way is awesome.

What's the name of that game again with such feature? The one with a colored cop and his woman partner that ask a lot of questions to the witnesses and inspect a lot of clues in the environment?

This might be a big possibility, and if it will be a feature in the game, this could be awesome indeed.

Blackadder.

I don't think it's meant to mean anything

Look at Vice City Stories, the third trailer is called "In So Deep" thats a quote from where Vic goes "I told you not to get us in so deep!"

The first trailer is just like that

"Perhaps here things will be different"

I think it's just the name of the trailer honestly confused.gif

Mission-wise, it could involve complex multi-layer tasks, that might even affect missions for other characters. Along this line, the conclusion might depend too on how you managed to complete the missions.

Control wise, I suspect too that R* might restrict the character's action outside of his antagonists, something similar to Scarface.

IMO the statement has two meanings. On the one hand it does mean that there is going to be significant change between this GTA and previous ones.

However, on the other hand, when the guy says "maybe here things will be different" I reckon it's hinting that while he has this hope for a change, there wont be any and we will get the same essense of GTA that we know and love (crime, killing etc...).

So while we will see plenty of new things there will be a fundamental continuity to GTA4.
