Crawlerz
hello. recently i downloaded a '50 ford custom for my dinky-looking SA and i liked it a lot. http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/file/1...;52714#Download (here it says for VC for some reason:() but http://www.gtagaming.com/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=1516 is the right one! but u see the thing is - it is a lowrider, and being that, it can be modified a bit. there are custom parts. but for them to work u really need to install it to the REMINGTN car, for which it was originally planned. now me being a person that down't seek easy ways to solve probs, i VERY MUCH wanted to install it to the BROADWAY pimp car. (also because they look painfully similar.) u see, i know how to install basic cars, .dff .txd and others things, like texts, shopping (a bit lagging here), etc. even worked with custom installers like SAMI (u know it + it can be found at that same site.) but when there are so MANY modifications to be done, i cannot really understand it. here (i mean there is a logical pattern, isnt there?) there are shopping, modding, etc., etc. modifications. now my main question is HOW oh HOW do u install the thing to a BROADWAY instead of the REMINGTON? could a specialist read the full readme.txt and maybe help me mod it? i mean not actually mod it but just enuf so that it fits over the BROADWAY. like rename the mod parts to this, these lines need to be here, instead of this... etc. i would be really greatful. thank u. p.s. also a very nice model of a Woofi Woof lowridr truck can be found here http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/file/1...om_Pickup;69263 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/270129-certain-vehicle-modding-help-not-ur-usual-veriety/ Share on other sites
92F
To replace the broadway all you'd have to do is rename the .dff and .txd. So instead of remington.df and remington.txd etc, just change it to broadway.dff and broadway.txd etc. Same applies to any other lines like handling, carcols etc. Instead of replacing the remington lines, just replace the broadway with the custom lines. Crawlerz
yes, all u say makes sense. and as i already said I NOW THAT. i have had some experience replacing cars already in VC and SA. the problem is (as i said) that being a lowridr, this guy has tons more features (like tunable parts named fmpb_something_rem) but as i said i'd love help directing me to install it over the BROADWAy. should those files be renamed into fmpb_blahblah_br ? if u download that file i referenced, can u please explain what and how should be changed in shopping, carmods, veh_mods, and how should the files be referenced in those .txts now? new names? keep old ones? plz ppl. i know how to replace the 2 dff & txd files. i need some kind of in-depth help. i h8 the broadway and because they look similar and because it seems like a challenge and just because... i would like to make all the necessary adjustments from remington to broadway. AND IF U DL THE FILE, u'll see - there are many! plz plz pzl download it. thank u, whoever u R !
