junkpile 254
since i do own hundreds of albums and some complete discographies, i try to sum up certain albums that kind of "stand out" as ones anyone can easily get into, in my opinion. Tricky "Maxinquaye" fantastic trip-hop album, chilled atmosphere, kind of dark as well. nice to smoke weed to in the eve. The Smiths "Meat is murder" you can say what you like about morrissey, that he should man the f*ck up f.e., but this album is epic, the other Smiths' albums are as well, but this is my favourite. great melodies & lyrics. Outkast "ATLiens" with this band, could recommend "aquemini" or "speakerboxxx..." as well, but ATLIENS features some of the greatest hip hop tunes ever, check out "Wheelz of Steel", "Elevators" or "Millenium". The Mars Volta "Deloused in the comatorium" progressive rock music, sick guitars, voice, atmosphere. i can't find proper words for it, it's just another epic record.

Silent Cry and Renegades can both be added to the Feeder section of my list.

I like both bands for different reasons. Oasis are great because most of they're music is heartfelt but I can't help but love the cocky nature of Blur's work. But for me, Feeder trounce them both. Docfaustino 321
Ah, I remember buying records. I don't care if I could have saved $10, there's nothing more satisfying than owning a tangible album. On my shelf right now, let me check. When I was desperately in need of money, I had to ship a bunch off to Amazon. Used to have a huge collection. The Silver Seas - High Society Islands - Return to the Sea Robert Johnson - The Complete Recordings Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed Doves - Some Cities The Clash - London Calling Velvet Underground - Banana Album Wolf Parade - Apologies to the Queen Mary Talib Kweli - Right About Now Nirvana - From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah Liz Phair - Exile in Guyville The Cure - Galore Pixies - Trompe de la Monde Anyone who knows me (which is not many on here) knows I'm a Doo Wop / 50's guy, but it just doesn't sound the same on album. So generally I have to plug my speakers in and play it off a youtube video of a turntable.

Slamman 130
I don't think that, while you are free to disagree. My opin on AC/DC is that despite their personal changes, they got the right guys in the band and they NEVER deviate from what they know and the fans like, though some growth is good, I say they got integrity I like to see and everyone gets along well too I don't have all their albums though, I did neglect Don Henley and The Eagles of course, who I did collect, and certain Metal bands like Celtic Frost, Boston, Foreigner, Robert Plant ... solo Spinal Tap as well, I guess you could say got all their stuff! haha
