Need help with "Farewell To Arms"!

ARGHH!! This mission is impossible! I can do the whole mission quite fine until the truck stalls. By that point the damage meter suddenly jumps right to the end. When you look at it, it's literally impossible to get out of this situation because the minigun is worse than it is in the other games and doesn't take out the sharks' cars quick enough. By the time I can actually get rid of one it's too late!!

 

Does anyone have any tips they can give me for this mission!?

It is indeed one of the more tricky missions in VCS.

I actually liked that mission a lot. I suggest to shoot the Sharks as soon as you get them in sight. Or you might have a glitch 'cause I've never seen that happening before.

Just memorize the locations of the early Sharks and by the time you get to the first roadblock (north of your safehouse), you should be able to get him there with little to no damage. After that, the remaining safeguarding you have to do is pretty easy, as you can spot the Sharks coming quite far away. When you get to the part where he's on the runway, always make sure to take out the closest Shark vehicle, as they're usually the one in position to actually do damage. Don't worry about them blowing up and hurting the plane, as usually they go out of control and veer off once on fire.
