Favorite Place To Fight Police

I am wondering whats the best place to fight the police...I have been in a couple good ones in the construction site near the garage in Dorhety...but I cant really see them to shoot at em. I just blow up their cruisers...

 

Is there a good place you know of that has good protection like a fence and maybe a roof to keep the stupid helicopter away, maybe near a pay n spray

Well... that construction site is the best place I found so far. The cops can't get there by any means, and you have walls and roofs. To shoot at them, just run out of the shelter, blast and take cover again, though after some hours it starts to get boring.

with very good view & perfect protection, after you gain 5 or 6 stars you can just pick a car and at the back of the garage there's a pay n spray.

I personally use Wang Cars and the medical center near Zero's store, when im running from cops i get a lvl 4 wanted lvl and run in the country on the dirt roads, and through small cities.. i personally also turn on slow motion and ride around on chilliad fighting them with an m4 and satchel charges.. haha.. but im wierd like that.. try the place near the coast close to the army base where theres a car lot..near the girlfriend with the monster trucks house but on the main drag..there is a multistory car lot.. get on the top floor blow the windows out and get to it, plenty of traffic there and pedestrians to murder. heli's might be a problem if you dont have a bazooka but that should be easy enough

I like to park inside a pay and spray, get out, then just start blowing up cars. I get up to 6 stars, then just get in my car and they're gone. Other than that, I jetpack up to a tall building so that all I have to fight are helicopters.

I use the interiors of Otto's Autos for this kind of stuff. But I preffer the sky, shooting down Hydras is so much more fun.

the verdant meadows airstrip. when a chopper comes, you can take cover in one of the hangars, and there´s no annoying cops on foot there.

and lately, I´m very good at killing cops. when they come in cruisers, I take my M4, and spray bullets on the windows, where the cops sit, so they´re dead before they can get out.

The train station across the garage in Doherty, SF is perfect for me.

I just grab a minigun and collect as much ammo as I can (usually over 20000) and hide there the helicopter won't bother me, nor are the other vehicles and I can shoot them from inside.

I have completed the game 100% so my ammo is unlimited and there's a sprunk machine outside so I can boost up my health if I need to.

I find all sorts of uses for bridges in this matter...however I usually just run and give chase but I do have some very special places I go. I wouldn't call it easier though. For example doing the NRG-500 Challenge with 4 or more stars is quite interesting and i am perfecting it. You get some great uses of the machine gunes doing this and even the helicopters are really no match......Eventually I will have it to Vid making Quality.

I tend to use Bayside. It's large enough to keep it varied, small enough to get in sh*t too deep. Plus, if you fancy a change of pace and scenery, just nab a chopper or a boat. Take the fight anywhere from Bayside.

The bridge leading from San Fierro towards the country that circles around the base of chilliad. I get on there and blow up the policie choppers and cars up speeding through there. slow motion works well there also..good place to take a few commy cops out before they can get stopped good. " " cops

Yeah, I like blasting cops from there too, but I prefer standing under the roof so the helicopters can't shoot at me. Generally any place will do.

Does anyone remember the beautiful irony of standing atop the police station ramp in Portland, Liberty City (GTA 3) and starting a rampage there? That's got to be my favorite place out of all games.

 

In San Andreas it would probably have to be the construction site in Doherty. However I like the idea of the tran station across from the garage so I'll have to try that next. That and Wang Autos, for the no risk situation with a Pay an' Spray right around the corner.

 

Sort of off-topic, but does anyone know if the cop crusisers will chase you on Mount Chiliad if you flee up the mountain in your car?

On very busy road so that when the police car blows up it blows up the cars around it and then I attract more police so there can be even more explosions

Sort of off-topic, but does anyone know if the cop crusisers will chase you on Mount Chiliad if you flee up the mountain in your car?

I think only the rural cops will chase you all the way up there, whatever your wanted level is.

Best place to 'own' the cops is right next to your house in Grove Street, you can keep getting ammo once you are running shirt and if your about to die you can run in and save the game and then start the mayhem all over again.

I like to stand on the top of the small pink buildings in Hashbury, SF Always remember to ride a BMX when fighting the cops. The bunny hop code makes it great fun!

There are many great cop-killing spots...

 

Under the bridge in the drainage wash behind Sweet's house is a good one. I also like Cranberry Station, across from the Dougherty garage.

 

Then there's the area with scaffolding, behind the yellow fence, across the street (to the north) from the Dougherty construction site. If you get the chainsaw, you can cut cops up through the fence and you can sometimes get their weapons.

 

Between the San Fierro police station and the "Big Tall Building" (aka the Transamerica Pyramid), there is a building with light-blue angled windows that CJ can climb up, making it almost impossible to be shot by the police, and the helicopters are only dangerous from two sides. With a bunch of desert eagle ammo and molotov cocktails, much hell can be raised here.

 

It's fun to steal a tank and then shoot down lots of helicopters from the baseball fields across from Zero's place, or on the beach in the southwest corner of San Fierro.

 

And when I want the police to do themselves in, I fly a Hunter near Arco Del Oeste and watch the police ranchers drive off of the cliffs. This can also be done at Mt. Chiliad and other mountainous places.

Around Cranberry Station (San Fiero) is really a cluster of good areas.

 

The big lawn south of the station, drive to the RR tracks cliff, stop, and watch the cop cars chasing you go over the edge...

On a good motorcycle (and max bike skill so they don't knock you off all the time) dodge & weave & run rings around the cop cars who can't fire, as long as you KEEP MOVING. Take your SMG opportunity fire whenever they're in front of you (which is where they want to be, oddly enough) but as soon as you see yellow flame, BOLT!

 

At the north end of the construction site, go up the ramp onto the roof and toss satchels onto the bad guys. If you stay away from the edges (and explosions) you're pretty safe from tanks and everything, for a while. (Odd how NO helicopters come when you're up there...)

 

Behind Wang Cars is sweet - everything comes at you from the highway, but you're up on a ledge, so again, toss satchels. The helicopters ambush you two at a time, from all directions, but run into the PaynSpray for a few seconds and they go home. It's fun to shoot them down (Minigun!!) but the damage you take is excessive, there's only one shield nearby, and sooner or later an exploding heli will take out your getaway vehicle: bummer.

 

When the tanks arrive, edge just close enough to tempt the (stupid) driver to get out. Drop satchel & run, boom, come back and enter tank for a heluva fun ride. Again, you gotta keep moving, but nothing can hurt you and you can cause holy mayhem. Rampaging through a city with a tank is great!

 

For a good time, drive a tank to the middle of an airport (I used Venturas) and practice shooting down those annoying helicopters, while the fence keeps everyone else out. Good fun.

 

[is it just me, or are the FBI Ranchers more dangerous than the army and tanks? There's always three of them, they're fast and extremely aggressive, and if they stop and get out, you're shredded. If the tank can't run you down, the driver gets out so you can shoot him, and the Barracks trucks, let's be honest, explode quicker than anything!]

At one side there is a small building with a camera next to it. You can jump on it and take cover behind the ledge in the center and kill a ton of cops.

I personally like the tallest tower in the game. AKA: the tower in las venturas that has a helicopter on it. IF things get to dicey, just get in the heli and fly to a safe house. Caution: some body armor required.

i like fighting the cops in the desert, there's also good possibility to "perform" high speed chases.
