How did NWA "pave the way" for Common, other than making rap more mainstream? They talk about completely different sh*t, and have different rapping styles. I don't see them having much influence on Common, at all.

Eminems new album is supposed to hit soon, this will make or break him cause lately his tracks are sh*t. Nothing compared to his old stuff, after encore everything went downhill. But hopefully the new album will see the lyrical madness crazy rhymes and laughing at the unfortunate we came to know and love back.

How did NWA "pave the way" for Common, other than making rap more mainstream? They talk about completely different sh*t, and have different rapping styles. I don't see them having much influence on Common, at all.

NWA made rap more mainstream? Even though their ryhmes where about killing cops and degrading women. They may have been getting publicity, but it certainly was the wrong kind of publicity. NWA defiantly had an influence on other artists in the gangsta rap gene, but it wasn't until NWA had split when Ice Cube and Dr Dre started going mainstream

Supposedly he's "getting back on that Slim Shady sh*t". Obviously, I'm skeptical considering Encore was basically a complete fail. And a couple of Aftermath have artists have confirmed it's coming, 'King Mathers' is the title.

 

He also got rushed to the hospital as of recently. Not sure why, but I've heard he stuffed himself full of food over the holidays and caused some heart problems...

I like twista, krazie bone and busta better as fast rappers. you can actually understand them lol.

 

Only problem I have with Eminem is that he isnt consisitent on the style of rap he uses. Sometimes he's talking about people dying and politics and whatnot, and the next song he's talking about sonething stupid and random as hell.

The only problem i had with Encore is that there were way too many of his 'funny' i'm just taking the piss kinda tracks on it. All the good ones (imo anyways) were right at the beginning and i got bored about half way through.

Just move Mockingbird and Just Lose It up next too Puke on the track listing and you've got all the ones i liked in the first 10 tracks.

 

King Mathers isnt the confirmed new album name nor has he really made it publically official. He's said he's working on something that will be coming out this year on a radio station, but i think that's about as official as it's gotten so far.

 

I hope he's a lot more pissed off in his new one coz that's where he really shines.

Other than windows recorder (Sound recorder) located in your accesories - Entertainment directory in windows xp... Do ANY of you know a better recorder I can use? I got a great mic I just need a good recording system or studio i should say. It can be free but if you know of anything that costs I can get it for free by any means nessasary. So regardless it doesnt matter. Thanks hommies!

The Re-Up is an awesome album. It took me a few listens to really appreciate it but now i like every track on it.

 

I'm gutted he didn't make a music video for No Apologies. I love that song.

I usually don't like his funny songs, but that one made me laugh. I never gave the Re-Up a listen due to the whole G-Unit influence on it and I just can't stand them. He needs to stay away from G Unit and do a decent album like Encore or The Eminem Show.

From what I've read, LupEND is just a title, not the last album he will do. Not entirely sure though.

Well some of g unit need to give it a rest. I know a lot of people say that Buck is good but I dont like him LLoyd Banks is way better. 50 is alright, but he tries to influence the other member's cd's too much and that meses em up.
