I don't want to compare these guys to Eminem but this is the first kind of hiphop/rap video I've seen and thought "thats f*cking mental" since when Eminem came out in the 90's. I'm not talking about rap skill, I'm talking about being a bit controversial. I think art and rap should always push the boundaries and these guys do. It's certainly out there and the parents will hate it!

lil ugly mane is probably my favorite musical project to come out in the last few years - don't be fooled by the lil prefix, his 2012 album is somewhat of an underground classic and helped spearhead that cloudrap movement at the time. after that first album which was reminiscent of old three six mafia sh*t he got real experimental with oblivion access in 2015 and then released an album under the alias bedwetter which is probably one of my favourite albums of all time.

 

 

once you start really digging into his history theres a whole lot of gems from random 07 myspace tracks, black metal demos, random noise band projects, trance/techno the whole nine yards - equally as good at producing as he is rapping.

 

shame antwon ended up being a rapist pos and causing LUM to disband Secret Circle which was pretty promising.
