It's modern but it sounds like 90's East Coast rap!

its not modern then is it? i love 90s east coast rap trust me some of my favorite rappers are from that era like big pun and big L but i dont want 90s east coast style rap from new rappers in 2017. that is the corniest sh*t ever its completely unoriginal these guys are literally imitating an era that they werent part of and yall praising it as real its the opposite of real.

 

also i hope all you guys are at least 30 or older because if you're like 20 and hating on your own generation then thats just sad and weird.

 

Nah if modern rappers are using the oldschool style, then that's dope! Coz there are still people out there (Myself, TwisT3R-HU, Mister Pink, Cosmic Gypsy, just to name a few) that still listen to oldschool rap on a daily basis.

 

 

Count me in that list as well, man.

 

I'm always open to something modern, and that doesn't sound like the 80s/90s, being good. But like you guys it's my go-to for something I know I will like. I'll listen to most things though to form an opinion.

 

Speaking of old school. I love going back and hearing some old Mike Shinoda/Joe Hahn. This was before they became Linkin Park, before Chester Bennington (RIP), back when they were going under the name Xero. These dudes were on to something special very early.

It may not look it from the position LP has been in recently, but if you follow Mike as an individual artist, he's a man who is and always will be Hip Hop to the core. He knows the elements and partakes in a lot of it in his spare time.

Honestly, Future sounds like Usher in 2004 after suffering severe brain damage and having his vocals put through auto tune.

THIS is hard, a car full of people rolling up on you playing Psycho Realm Showdown basically means you're about to die, a car full of people bumping your sh*t basically means they haven't passed puberty. NO ONE is going to be intimidated/impressed by futures soft as f*ck music. Unless they're below the age of 16 or have a vagina in between their legs. Future's unlike anything I've ever heard before. I love the dude's style and he's a p down to earth guy irl too and doesn't go around attention whoring or constantly talking about how hard he is or wear a distasteful amount of jewellery 24/7. I respect him.

I meant a group like Fugees, and that they have songs in English. There's a croatian rap group called Elemental, they're somewhat similar to Fugees but they never rapped in English, which sucks and its a shame if such group doesnt even exist in underground
