that new ross mixtape is good, i thought his whole sound had grown stale, albums all sounding the same etc etc, but he really came through, Sounds like he had fun making it too, the guys damn near falling apart laughing at the end of a lot of the tracks, exuberant fat f*ck.

Two things I wanted to say:

 

1. "Oh my god if I die I'm a motherf*cking legend". Have you noticed how many people hate Nas, Jay-Z, 50, or Ice Cube? Lots of haters. Tons of haters. Then Biggie is a legend. Although I respect the Notorious B.I.G, but I think maybe if he wasn't murdered he didn't have as much respect. People woulda joked about his grumpy voice and sh*t. That's the case with Ice Cube. Maybe if he was murdered in 1994 he was wayyyyyy more famous than Eazy E is right now. Or imagine if 50 Cent was killed in 2006. People would dickride anything left from him, calling him a legend; But now that he ain't dead, people talk like he wasn't a poor kid from the hood who made it big!
2. What the f*ck is wrong with guys who talk crazy about every white rapper because he/she's white?! It's really funny when it comes to newcomers like Justus, cuz they listen to Compton album everyday and again say "White sh*t, I ain't gon' buy that". Can they claim that all Eminem fans who bought MMLP back in 2000 were whites? I agree that Iggy Azalea isn't a VERY brilliant rapper but is Nicki really better than her? Was "Anaconda" really a masterpiece? f*ck nah! That sh*t was more sellout than Macklemore's Downtown, which everybody refers to as 'bullsh*t' just to seem cool. Even when Big Daddy Kane says he's keeping the culture by doing a song with Grandmaster Caz and Kool Moe Dee, some mofos say "So doing features with old ni99as is keepin culture alive? f*ck you kane." But don't think that "Who else woulda done that?". A lot of old rappers are broke as f*ck right now and nobody gives a f*ck about their lives. People even make jokes about them! And that's pure HATE! If a white rapper can flow, why shouldn't he do it? C'mon. Blackest rappers in the world are against racism, so why are y'all promoting it in a new way? As long as whites can make hot tracks, rap, DJ a party, do graffiti stuff and b-boy, it's a big help to the culture you claim to be yours so stfu.

I don't know, Jay-Z and 50 have their fair share of critics but Nas and Cube are largely respected and considered legends in the hip-hop community.

 

Speaking of Nas, September 14 is here which means he's 41 y.o. now. Posting the song that makes me always remember his birthday.

The sequel album would've been album of the year if it didn't feature Jeezy on fourth song. I loved the overall sound of the album, cuz as you may know I really love G-Funk and this is the funkiest gangsta album I've heard in recent years. The only problem is that it was toooooo short. When "Dead Wrong" finished, I was like "Ayo Warren G! Don't leave us like that man!" Now after listening to both original and sequel for quite some days, I feel like Dre should've let Warren produce his last album. I really prefer his producing style to Dre's new one.
