Its just chapter 13 bankruptcy. Its like some form of protection against the upcoming court case. Also doubles as a publicity stunt. Its like a company becoming a Limited Liability business rather than a soul trader.

50 Cent files for bankruptcy

 

That makes the first line of 'My Life' mighty awkward then.

 

50 is still filthy rich, he just bailed Kidd Kidd out last week and was spending thousands in strip clubs lol. He filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to protect his finances. He doesn't want to pay Rick Ross' ex $5 million. His businesses are not effected.
