Anyone got a solid link to Nikki's Truffle Butter? The sh*t is so hard 2 find and I don't want to make a account to download a simple mp3. Lol thx,

My friend has it, I made be able to get a sound file for you.

Has anyone heard Kendrick's The Blacker the Berry? I have a feeling his album is going to be mostly respecting yourselves and civil rights, taken from 'i', 'Untitled', and the new single.

I'm gonna make it my mission to show any of you non-believers on here the strength of UK Hip Hop.

We'll start with some old school stuff. This is 57th Dynasty, hailed as the UKs Wu Tang, they've got quite an American style (In fact, one is a London born New Yorker). They're still active but they're hey day was late 90s-early 2000s.

Here's some really old stuff, Criminal Minds, a Milton Keynes based group from the 80s. Some of the first to rap in British accents (Or a bastard New York/East Midlands accent). You can really hear where the US hip hop has mixed with British/ Carribean dancehall.

I've got plenty more UK hip hop, if you guys want to to hear any more or know anything about it, I'm a huge fan and I'm happy o help with what I know.

G-Unit dropped its new extended play, "The Beast" yesterday. It's really dope man! Production is on point and it's also a little bit different from their last effort, "The Beauty of Independence" which had all members on all tracks. This time, 50 appears on 4 songs. On the first track he sings the hook. The second track, "I'm Grown" has its first verse rapped by fiddy and the third track has an intro by 50 and Tony Yayo. 50 also sings the hook of "Boy Boy", fifth song of album.

This time the focus is more on Banks and Buck and they're doing a really nice job. An example is "Doper than my Last One" which features Lloyd Banks only.

It's a dope album, believe me. You should listen to it. The Unit has returned like they had never left!

Give it a listen and you'll love it. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-beast-is-g-unit-ep/id958887610

I bet some if not the majority of y'all don't know it, but rapper Young Maylay (CJ voice actor) used the money he gained from Rockstar to launch his own independent label in 2005 and release his first studio album named... San Andreas: The Official Mixtape. He actually started making guests appearance there and there around 2000 though, so it's not his first work.

To be honest i'm halfway through it right now (there's 20 songs) and there's only one beat I don't really like. The first quarter come off strong with some really short songs but rap wise if you're not into gangsta rap then you'll start to get tired after song # 7. King Tee is behind the project aswell and appears in a lot of tracks which is a plus rap wise.

Taskforce are definitely at the top of UK Hip Hop, they've been around for ages too. Love the Chinese style beat on this one by DJ Vadim.

Jehst is my favourite rapper, I love his flow and his lyrics are so poetic and vivid, also very British and relatable. He's another veteran of the scene.

Roots Manuva is another of the veterans and one of the most important figures in the scene.

This is Mud Fam, a group from the late 90s- early 2000s which had Skinnyman and Chester P in as youths.

Ive got that roots manuva (and dub come save me come to think of it) and that falling down. Im with you on jehst mate, you couldnt tell me nothing about jehst about in the 2000s. I know you will have obviously heard esp off the same album, jesus christ that song

The peacekeeper, the key to life beyond us

I love her beyond lust

My trust placed in her

Illustrious face with a great figure

Forbidden fruit of youth in the fingers of the grave digger

Manipulated my late-night sanctum

The lone catalyst of my tantrum

Her tender touch turns to talons

in her tempers clutch I bleed burgundy gallons

Ive tried telling people in other countries about jehst ,some listen.

That mud fam is nice. we had a real line in 90s east coast sounding beats for a long time.
