Has anyone heard Atmosphere? I can't freaking believe I've slept on this group, guess I'll go bang my head against a table lmao. But seriously though, I'm getting into this group a lot now I watched a video of Dead End Hip Hop review 'God Loves Ugly' and I gave that a listen as well as 'Seven Travels' and 'Overcast'

I grew up on atmostphere, their earlier work is much better, though their recent albums are decent, too. A few of my favorites:

Company Flow are one of the most underrated groups of all time. Glad El-P is finally getting the recognition he deserves, his Weareallgoingtoburninhellmegamixx trio is so good.

Latest albums haven't been received too great, I personally don't like the sound of Southsiders too much, but there's still some great songs on there.

I've been listening to everyone else on Rhymersayers label as well, lately been listening to the earlier stuff of Prof, it's pretty hilarious, but some people take it seriously; For clarfication of the song;

Gampo was a brief childhood friend of mine. along with the homie Dariush Akbari. (still close with him), but Gampo was one of the gnarliest mother f*ckers out. he was hella retarded. stealing sh*t. eating sh*t. influenced by peer pressure, he would do the craziest sh*t. when he left, we started calling each other Gampo. if we’d do something buck, or get BIG, we’d be getting GAMPO"

I was tripped out when I found out Lil Ugly Mane was white, don't mean to be a stereotyping c*nt but from his voice I'd assumed he was probably a 6'5 ripped as f*ck black dude but no he looks like this

LIL%20UGLY%20MANE%20uglymane.jpg

Shame he's stopped now, his instrumentals are f*cking sick too.

I think he and 'Schoolboy Q' should change their looks with each other!

Man, his performance was pretty awesome and unexpected. Was that a new verse at the end of 'i'? From a new song maybe, or just an extended version?

'Pay For It' with Jay Rock was great as well, kinda weird that Woody didn't introduce Jay for the 2nd one.

Anyways, found this while I was browsing around YouTube. Heard it a few years back:

So good :^:

EDIT: New J. Cole album coming in December!

"What up? My New Album is finished. It’s called 2014 Forest Hills Drive and it’s very special to me. It’s available everywhere on 12/9. This time I’m releasing no singles, just the album. See you in 3 weeks. Thank you for the love and support."

- Cole

I'm a huge, huge Cole fan. Hoping it'd be great as usual from him.

It's great to see Luniz - 'I Got 5 On It' made it into GTAV especially as we were only talking about that track last week.

Also, I've never listened to MC Eiht before. I heard his 'Streiht Up Menace' track when driving around in GTA and thought it was pretty dope. So while I'm working and can get away with it, I've decide to check his discography.

I'm starting with '94s 'We Come Strapped' (I had no idea Eiht was the lead dude in 'Compton's Most Wanted') and it's a really great G-Funk, Gangsta album.

Eiht is dope.

This is probably my favourite track on the album. Just the instrumental on its own is chilling.

That line at 2:18 is so f*cking smooth.

But some new sh*t - not bad.

I love MC Eight and Compton's Most Wanted's music, too. I have many good memories listening to this song:

"Hood Took Me Under" has one of my favourite instrumentals in Rap music, so chill.

Well, I love many West Coast classic tunes. This one, for example, is simply iconic:

Also, does anyone listened to the new songs added to West Coast Classics and Radio Los Santos in the new versions of Grand Theft Auto V? I think they're pretty amazing!

For those interested, here's the complete list of songs added to the already existing radio stations: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52352/gtav-soundtrack-listen-to-original-new-songs-added-from

All of my memories for Hood Took Me Under are GTA related. Haha. SA has to be where I first heard it. And you're right, that instrumental is incredible and instantly recognisable. You can't hate it.

I'm over the moon at the new additions to West Coast Classics. It's an amazing list of tunes. Radio Los Santos however...On the one hand I'm so happy that Kendrick's 'Swimming Pools' is on there now, but on the other, there's a whole bunch of ASAP, Danny Brown, Rick Ross, Future, Gucci...It's either artists I find difficult to consistently enjoy or I've never heard of them.

Problem & Iamsu!: "Do It Big" [ft. Bad Lucc and Sage the Gemini] - Who & who? ft who and who? I don't enjoy the song whoever they are.

They're the kind of artists that, if someone who had never heard the genre only heard that tracklist and formed a negative opinion on rap, I maybe wouldn't be able to argue for.

Note: I've found Space 103.2 to be a great alternative listen.

Also, still digging Eiht. 'Section 8' is cool though I think 'We Come Strapped' is better. Next will be 'N My Neighbourhood'

First song I've heard by this dude that I like. Still think he's a little corny, but I can appreciate some of it. Got some good wordplay in here. His videos are usually on point, too.

Yeah, to be honest, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas introduced me to music, especially to the Hip Hop culture. I'll always be grateful to Rockstar Games for the all the things they taught me with their video games through these years. Before 2005, I didn't know so much about music and art in general, so it has been very important to me, and helped me to create a personality when I was a 13-year-old kid.

I'm happy that Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pool (Drank)" is in, too. By the way, I wasn't into West Coast modern Rap, but I quite enjoyed Radio Los Santos' track listing, it introduced me to great rappers such as Jay Rock, Freddie Gibbs, YG, and many others. I don't agree on the "modern Rap sucks" mentality- Of course, time has changed, and the classics will always be the pinnacle of the genre, but there are many good rappers these days, as well. You know, I highly appreciate Rockstar Games' research for non-famous talented artists, whether it's Hip Hop or any other genre.

Yes, both Space 103.2 and The Lowdown 91.1 are simply amazing! I love Disco, Funk, Soul & R'n'B music.

My favourite Compton's Most Wanted's albums are "It's a Compton Thang" and "Music to Driveby". I love the samples used in their songs, I think samples tell a parallel story to the song's one, which is pretty nice.

However, this song reminds me when I was a breakdancer as a kid:

Good times...

Here's another song I love, such a classic:

Anybody listen to the demo of Eminem's Lose Yourself? It's the lost version before he done 8 mile, and the lyrics are dope as f*ck, probably even better than the final one in some ways, it's just the beat is too old and untouched. Apparently, he doesnt even remember doing it and sh*t due to all the drug problems and him being 2 hours away from death, so yeah. And his new album is coming out soon? Should be amazing.

He ruins it by being so conry. Same with his mixtapes.
