f*ck game i swear i never went anywhere near his music, sometimes you can just smell wackness off a rapper. See his fans and that.

 

 

no offence though mate, i have a good friend who rates him. And im in no position to comment after not hearing his music much. Just something about the guy.

None taken. I can understand hating the Game outside of his music (and maybe even his music itself), especially recently. Like I said, he is making the wait for his next album so painful. At times he doesn't have the worst attitude out there, but what he says and what he does seems like two different people at times. He isn't on the level of say a Budden, Nas or Rakim lyrically, but he can definitely kill a track when he wants to. His beat selection helps too. His first two albums are classics in my opinion, and his third is also great (track selection should have been better). I might end up hating him personally when this album releases as well, but I've got my fingers crossed he doesn't screw up after almost 3yrs of hype. He was the first rapper I really got into, so that is probably why I like his music that much more.

The Good Bad Ugly track I listed (for his next album) a few posts above is actually meant to be a recollection of what happened that day.

Ill no doubt end up listening to one of his albums one day. Its fun to hate for no reason sometimes but not a good attitude overall. Whats would you say is his best album?

The line really doesn't make complete sense either. I don't think it was that serious of an issue, but one shot was close to his heart. I'm pretty sure it was roughly a month, he wasn't in a coma that long, no way.

 

As for his best album, that can actually depend. Most Game fans will say Doctor's Advocate (his second album), but the general Hip-Hop public usually go with The Documentary (his debut). If I was to advice someone what to listen to first I would say The Documentary, Dre's input and golden touch on the album gives it that small advantage.

Speaking of Game, the video for Ain't No Doubt About ft Justin Timberlake & Pharrell made its way to the internet today. Ain't No Doubt It is one of the many failed attempts Game has had trying to create a commercially successful single. The song sounds like something straight from Justified (which is a great album). But not only does Game not fit the style of the track, but the production style is dated now. The video is nothing special and could of done without the black and white filter. Hot chicks ahoy though. Other than that, Game lip-syncing Timberlake's hook at then end was the only (somewhat) entertaining part of the video.

 

Hopefully the video for It Must Be Me leaks. With a better chorus and beat, the song could have been a fan favourite; because the verses were on-point. Plus the screens from the shoot looked badass.

Being the Game Stan I am, some of you may understand why I literally flipped when I turned my laptop to see that this was posted on Twitter (don't know where exactly):

 

 

That is the tracklisting on the whiteboard. As pumped as I was I had to go and watch my recorded episode of Top Gear whilst the TV was free. But I've just come back and seen that the guys over at the thisizgame forums pretty much did all the hard work deciphering the tracklist. Boy is it looking good. Hopefully there is very little changes (those last three tracks would be nice), and it is at least close to the final decision. It is a recent picture (apparently taken during/after hooking up with Mario). This does give me faith however, although most Game fans want InfraRED on the actual album desperately (myself included). According to Complex (who previewed the album last year) it was '140 bars of fury filled with quotables'. No verses or guests either, so hopefully that makes the cut (as well as the Kendrick intro). We Are Dreaming would be nice seeing as it is Dr. Dre, but we know very little of how good that track possibly is (also what happened to Dope?). But I'm happy with the likes of Good Bad Ugly, Born In Tha Trap and Dead People being on there (currently). I'm now playing through Game's albums in excitement. Sorry guys, another long-winded post about Game. But f*ck ya'll, but that image has made me a happy man (who is acting like a kid on Christmas morning). Hopefully these tracks live up to the hype.

Hmm, seems like a decent tracklist. I'm really happy that Bottles and rockin J's and She Wanna have my baby won't be on the normal version but I do think he should try to put the Lupe track and InfraRED on it instead of only on the deluxe version and take off ''Heavy Artillery''. f*ck Rick Ross.

 

Anyway, been working with a couple mixers on the 2nd single for the 2pac/game mixtape and the 1st one was really dope(got posted on game's facebook even!) but this 2nd one is gonna be even doper!!

Game track

 

There has been a few Game features here and there, nothing special really. Although the full untagged (and higher quality) version of New Jack City - Prod By B!nk dropped, which is pretty nice.

 

 

Kendrick Track

 

I hope they are still selling physical copies by the time I get back home in a few weeks as I'm really interested on getting a copy for myself. I've been impressed by the three singles and have enjoyed Kendrick's stuff since I heard about him through Jay Rock's 30 Day Takeover (Overly Dedicated is sick).

I've heard that Heavy Artilley is pretty dope, Rick Ross or not. Personally I'm not a huge fan of Young Jeezy (just preference), but I'm still looking forward to the Paramedics track (which is also apparently pretty bonkers). I'm willing to judge on a track by track basis, although the idea and reasoning for Martians Vs Goblins makes me weary, but I'm being optimistic. There are also other rumoured Lupe tracks (produced by Dr. Dre) and I would rather see those if they were true.

 

Also Game has been telling fans to ask a new BWS member any R.E.D. Album questions. I'm not totally convinced what he says is legitimate, but some of the stuff he has replied with seems believable (and adds up). He has pretty much confirmed most of the stuff we saw in the picture I posted on the last page (with SWHMB and B&R J's being on the Deluxe; probably only for commercial interest). He also said L.O.V.E is on the album. Hopefully It Must Be Tough is on there too, then I wouldn't mind as much if InfraR.E.D didn't make the cut (L.O.V.E., It Must Be Tough & Good Bad Ugly are the three tracks people keep talking about). The replies that are questionable are the following - Firstly he did say Game worked with Lady Gaga, and that the cuts wouldn't make the album (Game did want to work with Gaga however, and there was a rumoured track produced by Kanye); he did seem sarcastic about it though. Secondly he said Pac was on the album (a sample perhaps?), which is not too out of the ordinary. Finally he said Eminem was on the album on a track called Alter Ego, with other rumours of Eminem being featured on We Are Dreaming, a possible second single. To be honest I wouldn't mind if Eminem wasn't on the album (with the screaming and everything). I'm just playing Devil's Advocate, as I'm taking all this with a pinch of salt. He also said Warren G wasn't on the album, but perhaps he meant only vocally.

 

The Pot of Gold video is out next week and Mars confirmed that there is new Game mixtape arriving before the album.

Pretty pissed off that Yelawolf is trying to get his leaked first single 'Gangsta of Love' taken off Radioactive. He says it may not be possible now that it's finished, but it would make a great first single. So i'm rooting for the record label to see it's popularity now it's leaked and roll with it, against Yela's wishes...Something I never usually wish for. I do really like the song though.
