haha tounge.gif Now that link's dead.

I caught it on Saturday when it was first available on iTunes for some ridiculous price. Who pays to watch a music video? that's the dumbest idea. It's a good video, but not entirely sure I get the narrative. Was he imagining the whole thing? If the girl wasn't real when he goes to choke her then who was actually in the car at the beginning/end...Or does the car appearing again at the end represent an endless cycle of hook ups and let downs bought on by his distrust towards women and his inability to have a stable relationship?

I wasn't expecting the gunshot though, that was a nice surprise, pretty cool. Some awful watch product placement when he goes to close the door. That shot is so awkward to the pacing of the whole video, and being a film student that cut makes me want to punch the editor in the nose.

Can't wait for mellowhype rerelease too, gonna be off the chain. I need to download that freddie gibbs too, is it against the rules to post mediafire links here? If someone could hook me up that would be great.

Cheers. Don't know why they didn't just officially release it as soon as it leaked...They've lost a lot of initial views I imagine.

So this album just came out yesterday completely under the radar....

I noticed the cover in HMV yesterday and couldn't for the life of me read the name, at least in passing, so I had no idea it was Limp Bizkit. Not a good design decision. Either way, the album's so very so-so. Considering it's their first effort in 6 years you'd think they'd come back with something a bit more explosive and HEY WE"RE BACK MUTHAf*ckAS!' but no...Pretty flat. Not bad, jsut not special or particularly noticeable.

Only 2 I keep on repeat 24 hours later are these...

Walking Away

Loser

Loser being the better of the 2 imo. I've no idea on anyones opinions on Limp Bizkit nowadays, but i'm posting anyways. I'm pretty sure if they hadn't gotten into ridiculous beef a long time ago, they would still have all the big names in rap...Xzibit, Wu Tang being represented (Method Man, Raekwon), Dr. Dre, Eminem bumping their name and featuring heavily. But they f*cked up their big mainstream careers a long time ago.

EDIT: And I'm seriously enjoying Drake's 'Marvin's Room' track a lot. New visual for it just hit today and it looks good. Not up on Youtube yet so...

Dude that bizkit album is f*cking sick.... fred seriously brings the heat, its like he never stopped making music. "Autotuneage" and "Middle Finger (feat. Paul Wall)" are the standouts.

I've never really been into this smooth R&B type sh*t, but seriously Drake, The Weeknd and Frank Ocean are doing it so well right now.

didn't like Middle Finger at all personally. Sounded messy. I don't dislike the album at all, in fact i've got it playing as I type this. I just think it's underwhelming compared to what they've been known for doing, and as a reunion album it should have packed more of a punch and had more promotion behind it. I don't even think there's an official first single with a video...

That Weekend remix of trust Issues is hella good. I'm not into that smooth R&B either but these artists are making it sound appealing, it seems.

I'd advise you to ignore him kippers, he was being sarcastic. One look at his post history will highlight his constant need to apply sarcasm and a facetious attitude, with his humour failing miserably. I haven't seen him apply anything of worth to any topic he has has posted in kippers, so I would take the post in vain.

Listen to: Game ft Chris Brown - Pot of Gold

Anyway, back to my scheduled "Game Updates". I've been restraining myself from posting every minor event surrounding the album (rumours and whatnot), and I was waiting for the upcoming current subject to formulate more before I posted on it. Good news however, as Game seems to have scrapped the abomination that is Bottles & Rockin J's and is instead promoting Pot of Gold as the "first official single". Even though it was leaked some time ago, it is doing well on iTunes and the video has already been shot and is now in the editing stages. I like the track and it has that cross-over appeal. I'm not overly enthusiastic about the drums, I feel they are a bit weak, but other than that I think the track is solid. The mastered version is also a lot better. It is still getting good feedback, which is important.

This means Red Nation was a street single. This was already a known fact, but Game going out of his way to note this as the "fist official single" may be an indirect acknowledgment of hatred towards his recent tracks. I prefer Red Nation, but being a street single means it has a chance of not making the album. If it doesn't, that is also a positive as that gives space for an extra song we haven't heard, and hopefully a better one at that. Game mentioned recently that The R.E.D. Album is 17 tracks in length (if he keeps his word). I'd rather it be shorter than usual, but hopefully the expected tracks still make it (Good Bad Ugly, L.O.V.E & It Must Be Tough have to make it; from the talks, those are the clear highlights). These fake tracklists that keep being posted are killing me. Hopefully we get the real one in mid/late-July. Then I can rest a bit more easily (and hopefully not disappointed).

out of every rapper ive listened to Eminem has taught me no matter how hard life is you can get through it eventually weather its about a child or a ex all his music has spoke to me in different ways

Tinie Tempah has really good music like Written in the Stars has to be one of the best songs i have ever heard

2pac and Eazy-E i haven't listen too many of their songs but the ones i have listened to they are all great

i can rap

Eminem when im gone = all of it in perfect timing

Tinie Tempah Written in the Stars = about 88% cos there are some parts he raps really fast

I don't listen to the immortal tech of the nique and all this underground bullsh*t that’s never gon’ peak on the Billboard Top 20 and Jam of the Week I’d rather listen to Badu and Pusha the T and some Wacka Flocka Flame instead of that real hip-hop that’s bull of the sh*t.

Pretty dope... and those shrooms were tight as f*ck.

A group known as SwagSec (influenced by LulzSec & Lil B) hacked Amy Winehouse's website, and in place is a rather comical page with a message that means business. You might want to hurry up and check it out before the issue is resolved. The website has audio playing when you visit, so watch out.

Stay based.

So I was at HMV yesterday and I saw Prodigy's autobiography. I remember him talking about it when he was in jail so I got really curious and decided to buy it. I read a couple of pages this morning but had to stop since I was so hungover.

Anyone here read it?

wha??...... confusion strikes me sad.gif

Shred Durst's entire post that you quoted is a lyric from Tyler's 'Goblin' track, so I don't think he's being serious with what he's saying.

Guru, the GAME updates are much appreciated smile.gif I don't follow his news as closely so it's always good to get the low down on his album progression through someone on here. Cheers man.

Be glad you don't. Game is annoying as f*ck to be a fan of nowadays. I was happy presuming he finally finished the album for good, with him mentioning the 17 tracks and releasing Pot of Gold as a single, but he keeps contradicting himself. His constant search for "that" mainstream single worries me also. For instance, he still keeps recording with Mars of 1500 or Nothin' despite the album being (apparently) finished. He recorded the Tyler track recently and earlier today he did a track with Mario. He is adding more features and replacing possible songs that Game fans have been waiting ages for. All these tracks are (excluding a few) by Mars too. He is a good producer, but I'd rather have the Neptunes & Dre tracks stay then be replaced by his stuff. I mean insiders have been praising how good those tracks already are. He even keeps changing his mind whether Dr. Dre is one of the Executive Producers or Co-Executive Producers. There is a big difference, which one is it Game?

Hopefully the album looks something like this (all confirmed tracks), but I know it won't be:

2. InfaRED - [Prod By Cool & Dre]

3. Born In Tha Trap - [Prod By DJ Premier]

4. Good Bad Ugly - [Prod By HitBoy]

5. Good Girl, Bad Girl ft Drake, Melanie Fiona - [Prod By Cool & Dre]

6. Ricky - [Prod By DJ Khalil]

7. Mother Knows ft Nelly Fertado - [Prod By The Neptunes]

8. It Must Be Tough ft Pharell - [Prod By The Neptunes]

9. Pot of Gold ft Chris Brown - [Prod By The Futuristics]

10. Everyday - [Prod By Warren G]

11. Roll My Sh*t ft Snoop Dogg - [Prod by The Neptunes]

12. Dead People ft Dr. Dre - [Prod by Dr. Dre]

13. Dope - [Prod by Dr. Dre]

14. Martians Vs Goblins ft Tyler, The Creator & Lil Wayne [Prod by 1500 or Nothin]

15. Skate On ft Lupe Fiasco - [Prod By Infamous]

26. L.O.V.E ft Ciara - [Prod By Timbaland]

17. Cali Dream ft Trey Songz - [Prod By 1500 or Nothin]

(Sorry, but all the Game fans keep making their own. I couldn't resist)

But in better news, Lupe's new music video is pretty dope. I really like the concept:
