Was surfing around town looking for clothes for my Street Dance class today and took a quick glance into HMV as I walked past the entrance and there, right at the back, I saw Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2.

I bought that sh*t double time. Now a proud owner cool.gif

Oh sh*t, it's available in HMV!? Finally, a rap album sold in the UK on day one, thanks for the heads up icon14.gif .

I might go and get it tomorrow.

No problem Guru. I was as surprised as you to see it there on the shelves. wasn't even looking for it.

In other news

Benzino is STILL trying to diss Eminem (and Slaughterhouse)

Talk about desperate for attention when the only time he comes onto any radar is when he wants to diss someone. WEll I say diss. I've gone through the whole song and not heard a single good line.

I'm not even sure where the disses are meant to be. It's a sh*t song

Oh dear. I saw the video he made a few days ago where he said "f*ck Royce" and I was like what?! That was the worst diss I've ever heard. He's going to get destroyed again.

Wow. I wasn't expecting that from Kudi. I liked Day and Night and figured it would just be a one off. But no. I havn't picked a personal favourite from what I've heard so far off the album. It all seems pretty strong in my opinon)

Back to HMV I go (In a few days)

Anyone gone and picked Cuban Linx 2 up today? I swear the album sounds even better when you've got a physical copy.

Obviously that prick wants to get destroyed again but why against Slaughterhouse?

I remember when Royce referred to Benzino when he dissed Eminem. "Paul better call me like he called Benzino, matter fact I might even do a song with Ray."

God knows why he's doing it. But I'd love to hear yet another diss from Eminem. but first I want to see that music video for 'Forever' which is currently being shot in Miami.

I know thousands of people will do it, but incase you havn't been on rapbasement. Anyone here who makes their own beats etc can submit their own into pmpworldwide.com with the chance of having their beat used on Eminems 'Relapse 2'

Obviously it's a long shot, but fun to make a beat non the less.

In related news, beat submission website www.pmpworldwide.com is currently accepting beats and production that will be considered for Eminem's upcoming "Release 2" album. As previously reported, Eminem's "We Made You" [watch here] single had it's beat originally made by producer Doc Ish and submitted through this website. According to the website, "Relapse 2" still has a possibly release date as the 4th Quarter of this year. So if you want to submit beats for Eminem's next project make sure you get them in before the due date of September 13th.

Heard he's also coming to Sweden, but not my town, would be good to see him live.

These are my favourite at the moment.

Artist:Ice Cube (His style is unique. Hes funny and angry at the same time. He flows so well its fun to know the words )

Album: Straight outta compton/Doggystyle/MMLP/Illmatic(I really cant choose atm but if I had to it would be illmatic which i found average when i first got it but coming back to it i found it so smooth and the beats were epic

Track: Changes by 2pac(I love this track so much I make sure i listen to it everday. It has gotten kinda old but I still love it)

Year: 1994(Ready to die, Illmatic,Daily operation and others that I cant remember right now)

What are some of yours?

Daily Operation came out 1992, unless you meant Hard to Earn which is Gang Starr's 94 classic.

As for me, 1988 is the absolute best year ever in hip hop.

Strictly Business, By All Means Necessary, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back, Straight outta Compton, Long Live the Kane, Eazy-Duz-It, Critical Beatdown, It Takes Two, Straight out the Jungle, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick, Follow the Leader, Goin' Off, Tougher than Leather, In Control Vol. 1, In Full Gear, Life is Too Short, Act a Fool, The World's Greatest Entertainer... I can go on all day!

Then there's also 1989: It's a Big Daddy Thing, Unfinished Business, Road to the Riches, The Biz Never Sleeps, Knowledge is King and more...

The entire golden age rules. 1986-1996 the best years in the hip hop history. No year after was really that special.

Enjoying Cudi's album, it's unique. Didn't think Day N Nite would be on it though..

Pretty good year for hip hop, a lot of good albums recently.

Why not? It's his main song.

I got the album quite a few months back, and I was actually genuinely shocked that the album is actually really good. I only mainly heard the Bassline version of Day 'N' Nite, so when I heard the album I didn't have high expectations, but I was wrong.

The tune with the Outkast tune is a good one.

I know right. I wasn't expecting to like Cudi at all. I figured he'd jsut be another radio rapper, with Day N Nite being a one off good song.

It's actually a pretty serious and deep, non club-like album.

The fact that he has MGMT on his album speaks volumes on how awesome he is.

EDIT: I didn't know they were making a Forever video. Something tells me it will be underwhelming.

I don't know the lengths you kids are going to go to for TBOGT, but here's a reminder...

But seriously:

Female rappers: obscure, but brilliant.

Raekwon's thrown the offer in the air for a Slaughterhouse/Wu Tang collab. (Dispite having feuded with Budden a few weeks back)

To me that feels like a perfect combination. What's that? 12 names from 2 super groups? Some of the comments I read on the article over at rapbasement suggest back-to-back verses alternating between Wu Tang and Slaughterhouse members spitting 16 bars each with no chorus. Jsut full on in-your-face rhyming by 12 sick as anything guys. some real frantic POW POW POW! material.

That would be dope as f*ck in my opinion inlove.gif And a rather drunk/high Slaughterhouse seem up for it aswell lol.gif

Gotta love me some females. They don't get any coverage these days apart from maybe Missy Elliot and whoever else mainstream.....One of my personal favs is Lady Of Rage. Snoop Dogg and Lady Of Rage are a sick combo.

^That would be epic.

I was going to do a 10min freestyle at College today and upload it on YT. But everywhere was too noisy (camera is rubbish with sound). I can do it on Tuesday hopefully, but I might be having braces in then cryani.gif . But I will be doing at least one freestyle (a written one this time) on the Exiles Radio tomorrow, so I'll be sure to post it (feedback would be appreciated).

I've been trying to upload the Raekwon album but YouTube is being a b*tch. Anyway here is the two exclusive tracks on the UK version that you guys overseas might have not heard:

I really could never get into Slaughterhouse or Wu Tang Clan (although I do enjoy listening to CREAM), but I could give their stuff a try.

Oh, BTW,I just listened to some tracks from Slaughterhouse and already, I find them dope, my favorite track is The One. Now is their any Wu Tang songs that you'd recommend?
