Sounds like something Em would write but either way it kills ICP good stuff  cookie.gif  cookie.gif

Thanks. Also I made this cause I'm so pissed at ICP for the way they've become ever since the Wraith albums. I know a lot of people might disagree with me but if you compare all of ICP's songs from 92-99 with all their new stuff, their old stuff is by far, better than their new stuff which is crap.

Anyway, I might do another diss, this time towards Soulja Boy, since I already dissed Lil Wayne and ICP. Then I'll be targeting Flo Rida and T Pain, the maybe Lil Jon.

OB4CL II might be pushed back because of these leaks. Although that might be useless since many albums get leaked one or two weeks before they're released. I really want to know how someone gets these tracks and leaks them.

I'm right and you know it.

WTF? If I was a rapper and had several of my songs leaked, I wouldn't give a crap and so I'd just released my ablum on it's original release date.

OB4CL II was supposed to come out August 11 but when Surgical Gloves leaked, Raekwon pushed it back to September 8.

I'm currently listening to an interview that was on NPR a few years ago. It's with authors of a book called That's The Joint: Hip Hop Studies Reader. It's quite interesting, and the book is a collection of essays: basically hip hop from a scholarly standpoint. Youfind the interview here. I think I'm going to read that book.

So the blueprint 3 sounds like another album where Jay brags about everything he has like in...Most of his latest albums?

and they wonder where Kanye gets it from?

Don't get me wrong, the beats i've heard have been nothing but top notch in my opinion. It's just the suject matter pisses me off to no f*cking end, because i don't want to hear him or any rapper talk about how much they have.

Finally, got the Slaughterhouse album this morning. Listened to it, awesome album I must say. I still wonder why they didn't include 'Woodstock' though. I was thinking of uploading all my (new) rap albums on YT so people like me in the UK can still listen (don't distribute albums here, because know one buys them etc). Of course I'll have to point that's why have uploaded the songs, and not for people to jack it, causing Copyright infringement. WMG are the ones that concern me, they are on a war path when it comes to music. Even tracks they've put up themselves already, they'll still take yours down! notify.gif

Another leak from the Blueprint 3:

How many songs is Timbo actually producing on this album!? Know wonder everything seems so average off this album at the moment lol.gif . Not great, not bad. I thought D.O.A was off the hook though. The one I'm looking out for though is 'Brooklyn State Of Mind', shame about the Nas rumor not being true though.

Update: Long awaited:

Everyone agrees (comments etc) that Em smashed this. I think Drake was better though in my opinion. Either way both Drake and Eminem did this track justice. And from Drake's twitter he revealed that this is the 'wrong' version that leaked. So there will be a presumably better to still come. I've got to give Eminem his props as well, because this style of tune is very different and slower than what he's used to, but he pulled it off very well.

Eminem took the song away from Wayne (Not difficult for anyone really imo) It did sound a little odd hearing him rap over this kind of beat though. definitely not where he should be or somewhere he should get too comfortable being imo. Drake was close second; really starting to respect him as of late. And Kanye's just meh....Kanye

It's crazy just having Em on the same track as Wayne. Never thought it would happen but man did Em smash it, Wayne and Kanye came pretty average and Drake impressed me, great track overall. I'll be playing this for quite some time.

Love them or hate them, for Drake to pull those 3 artists for a track on his debut album (Wayne included) is massive for Drake so early in his commercial career. I don't think many ever get that much support unless seen as something worthwhile.

Eminem's name jsut looks so out of place there. But it's a great sight to see at the same time.

Good track from the Hu$$le. Have you heard the content from Snoop's new album? I remember a video cropping up on YT and he was playing an album preview at some concert. It was hard to hear the audio so it's not really fair to judge it. But to be honest, it did sound a bit mediocre. He even said in the video, and I might of misheard this, but he did collabos including one with Soulja Boy. This shocked me, as not long ago Snoop took a huge pop shot (along with Ice T) at Soulja Boy (and today's rap industry). If that isn't selling out and being a hypocrite, then I don't know what is. Then you also here the tracks he's leaking like 'F*ck Yeah', and you think why bother? Not even mainstream could be as stupid as to like it.

What confuses me though, when he features on tracks like the one above and the one below, he always comes on point. So it's not a matter of him falling off, our losing what he once had in the rap game. As you can see, he goes hard on both tracks. Just makes you wonder.

I've found Snoop to be fairly on and off over the last few years. I havn't liked an entire album of his for quite a while, but I can't stop respecting him or start hating him

He had Soulja as a guest on an episode of Dogg after Dark. That's all that needs to be said on that one.

In other news...

I like BONE THUGS version of DOA better than JayZs

That Forever track is crazy.

And Bone Thugs are always great. Bizzy's Weedman is probably my favorite Bone song.

Shame the beat isn;t anything classic or soemthing that sounds different from everthing else that's out there instrumental wise and be remembered instantly. Drake had the opportunity to make something instantly classical with that line up, but i think the beat failed him. It's just your everyday 'modern day' beat. 1da boi icon13.gif

But yeah, 99% of the internet seems to agree that Eminem overshadowed everyone (Drake slightly less so)

And just because the words Ghetto and Techno rhyme, does not mean they should be used in a song.

That Forever joint is pretty tight, even given how much Autotoner annoys the living f*ck out of me. I've gotta' agree that Em's verse overshadows the rest, though Kanye's is pretty tight and Drake's got some sick wordplay going on as well. Not as big on Weezy in this as I usually am though, his part's alright, but not as impressive as it could have been.

EDIT: Anyone know where I can download the A Kid Named Cudi mixtape? Every download link gives me a 404.

Might as well add a video for my favorite Fabolous joint, still sick every time I hear it.

Check your PMs.

And that Fabolous song is good, surprised when I first heard it and liked it.

I wonder what has happened with the Nas & Damian Marley album and when it comes out... my favorite of his:

I maintain that illmatic is by far the greatest rap album ever produced. Nas is a f*cking legend.

EDIT: And that Fabolous track was pretty sick too. I'm going to have to download that.

Lyric wise, yes. But production wise, I'm not sure.

The Fabolous track or illmatic?

I think the production for it is fantastic. I couldn't have described the excellent production of the album into any better words than this: "The crossroads of Old School and New School."

Of course the production on Illmatic is not in depth and expensive. But what do you expect, the album was created when Nas wasn't well known and of course a huge budget would have been out of the question. But at the same time, that's what makes Illmatic brilliant. The raw heavy old-skool east-coast basic beats that emphasis the whole album style. It's very down to earth and gritty, which is what I think the album was meant to be like.

Nowadays people can have huge budgets and produce a load of crap.

Just goes to show........

Exactly.

I was just saying that in my opinion it's the best rap album of all time. Plus I'm from an area in Queens not far from where he grew up/references a lot in his songs, so I also relate to it from my hometown New York vibe standpoint.

And I must say the jazz solo at the end of "Life's a Bitch" is brilliant in adding to the NY vibe. Then it leads right into my favorite song by him.

I'm also really digging this by him, from "Stillmatic", released nearly a decade after the first album.

And I f*cking love this line: "We need more warriors soon, sent from the stars, sun and the moon."
