Flesh-n-Bone

Whenever I see a picture or video of Tupac with hair I call him "shoopac" for some reason. Hah.

EDIT: I just went onto youtube to find another video of mine includes copyrighted content (owned by Sony Music Entertainment). But guess what? They aren't assholes like WMG and the only thing they do is show an ad on the bottom part of the video and show the name of the song with the iTunes option.

I call him Tewpock Shackor. tounge.gif

Are there any songs on The 7 Day Theory that are comparable to his older songs?

I picked up Me Against the World the other day, though I haven't given it a proper listen yet. Is there anything else out of his earlier material that you would recommend for a moderately new listener?

I've also been listening to quite a bit of MF DOOM lately, (or DOOM as he goes by now) and I have to say Operation Doomsday is one of the best albums I've listened to in quite some time.

Yes, check out his first two albums too. 2pacalypse Now & Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.

The latter is his most underrated album IMO.

DOOM is dope. Be sure to pick up his stuff from other aliases, such as Madvillain (with Madlib) and DangerDoom (with DJ Danger Mouse). I haven't heard any of the stuff he made under Viktor Vaughn or King Geedorah, I've been meaning to check them out. And the samples he uses from that Fantastic 4 cartoon that he uses on I Hear Voices are awesome! "I'll turn you all into statues, with liquid titanium steel!" "Unless you recognise me as world ruler, I'll destroy every major city on earth!" Classic.

And I picked up 2pacalypse Now. Brenda's Got A Baby is one dope track. Same with Trapped and I Don't Give A f*ck. I underestimated the depth of this man, and wrote him off as an annoying pop star for the things he did later in his career. He really did turn his back on what he believed in with some later singles, most notably "Hit 'Em Up". It was absurd, given his views on violence, to turn around and glorify it with music like that. Not to mention him and his ilk contributed to the whole "hey Mr. 13 year old get laid fast and while you're drunk or else you ain't a g" zeitgeist, which is a major contradiction to all the anti-AIDS pamphlets he handed out during his teen years.

I'm pretty sure it was all cause of Suge Knight (I mean he threatened Jerry Heller if he didn't release Dr. Dre from Ruthless Records when the problems arose between Eazy and Dre).

And I also think Suge Knight had some association with the shooting of 'Pac. Because Pac was ready to leave Death Row and planned to start his own label (rumors say he also wanted to make an east coast version of that label where east coast acts like Nice & Smooth were signed.)

So I think Suge was behind all the problems caused by 2pac and his thug persona, Pac realized that he made a mistake by signing to the label and planned to leave.

It's obvious Suge just loved the controversy he let his members cause. Later on when Death Row was declining, Snoop made his second album and left (with a diss recorded against him) and same story with the Dogg Pound. Dre went and started Aftermath too. Around the earlier years of 2000, Kurupt signed to Death Row again and Daz & Snoop went against him. That happened until Kurupt released Against the Grain and left.

All of those rumors & information tells me that Suge was behind anything started by someone from Death Row.

And designs his own album covers and music videos.

Chico&TheMan was supposed to be out during Summer. Well it still is Summer, but I don't see it coming out anytime soon.

EDIT: First leak off Jay-Z's BP3:

If I'm honest, I'm rather disappointed. Especially with the attitude and outlook Hov seems to have with this album (from interviews). You sorta listen to this song waiting for something amazing to happen, but it doesn't really go anywhere or pick up. Seems rather shallow. And Timbaland trying to hog the limelight again; "hey, hey, hey", what the f*ck is that? Who in their right mind would want 'Timbo' producing their music, he just ends up shouting 'hey' over it. Pretty average track.

Here is a link to a permanent HQ just in-case the YT video gets taken down: clicky!

barf8bd.gif I predict that The Blueprint 3 will be his worst album.

The small amount of hope that I had for Jay-Z returning to his roots is gone. The hope I had for Jay to even be an alright rapper is severely diminished. First he releases Death Of Auto-tune believing he could even change the rap game. After he "retired" Jay lost all his power and influence, and at that point sh*tty artists took over. D.O.A. failed because the biggest users of Auto-Tune will still use it and Jay said that he is fine with T-Pain and Kanye West using that. Since the biggest users of Auto-Tune will continue to use it, all the other sh*tty artists will too. So in the end, the whole concept of killing Auto-Tune failed if Jay would let T-Pain use it.

Jay-Z then came out with Run This Town, and his lyrics are possibly some of his worst.

We areYeah I said itWe areThis is Roc NationPledge your allegianceGet y'all black tees onAll black everythingBlack cards, black carsAll black everythingAnd our girls are blackbirdsRidin' with they dillingersI'd get more in depthIf you boys really real enoughThis is la familiaI'll explain laterBut for now let me get back to this paperI'm a couple bands down and i'm tryin' to get backI gave the other grip, I lost a flip for five stacksYeah i'm talkin' five commasix zerosdot zeroHere it go...Back to runnin' circles 'round niggasNow we squared upHold up

Random senseless lyrics along with two other terrible artists and basic production. He really doesn't care what he says as long as it rhymes. No flow to go along with the song. The same can be said for Off That. Jay-Z is just horrible now. Lil Wayne dissed him when he came out of retirement saying Jay wasn't the best now. Then Jay went and accepted that. Jim Jones and The Game basically stalk Jay and always diss him. Then Jay decides to be a pussy and not do anything. He just wants fame and dickrides all new artists for that. He just does anything to try and be popular with other artists.

F*ck Jay-Z. He's a dickriding fa**ot.

I am absolutely in love with this.

"One Love" by NaS + "Arrow Root" by MF DOOM = inlove.gif

I can't find it anywhere. I don't even think it's available for download. So if somebody could convert this to mp3 for me, I would be eternally grateful. Seriously. I must have this song.

Oh and to contribute, I've been listening to a lot of MF DOOM/Viktor Vaughn, Madvillian and The Pharcyde lately. Top quality stuff.

Why should he care, he has more money then he can possibly spend.

None of what your saying makes any sense. If I made the amount of money he does I wouldin't even give a sh*t of having the title of best rapper alive, or even any two bit rapper dissing me. He doesn't need fame, and I'm sure he feels the same way.

Jay-Z has to much f*cking power and way to much f*cking money to even care and that's the message he's been sending across with BP3.

So make your little predictions, because in the end. Every single prediction you true dick riders have made has been a disappointment, go back to your old school funkidyfunk. Nothing you guys have to say about anything but "oldschool" has been nothing but a crock of sh*t.

All that you're talking about is money and I'm talking about lyrical content. You don't make any valid points and just insult.

Permanent HQ

This album is looking like it's gong to be the bomb. I'm gonna try and ignore leaks from now and wait for the CD to drop. Still waiting on my God damn Slaughterhouse album CD though, it's starting to p*ss me off.

Jay-Z - Reminder

BP3 is leaking it seems. This is alot better than "Off That", although I do hate the hook. Sneaky shot at Joe Budden anyone?

Remember those button ups, young Hov

Tell them ordinary Joes, Budden up

If you couldn't tell already, I'm a huge QN5 fan, every single artist signed to QN5 is absolute gold. Cunninlynguists, Substantial, Supastition, Pack FM, etc. It's probably the best underground label IMO, especially given their extensive support and consistent releases of mixtapes and free MP3s.

Here's a little rap I wrote called The Clowns and Their Sheep,

What is a Juggalo,

a stupid brainwashed hoe,

oh no!

ICP, you used to be hip hop,

now you milk money out your fans to the last drop.

I used to think you were cool back in the day,

now your just straight up gay!

What happened to albums like the Riddlebox or Great Milenko,

it all had to go!

You tell them it's all for the family!

The family is a lie!

Makes me want to cry!

You were once true underground,

now I'm not f*cking around,

cause I ain't down!

Violent J,

or as Em put it,

Silent Gay!

Your a sellout,

no longer is wicked sh*t what your about.

2 Dope,

you better be listening to this I hope!

Leave that clown,

tell him your not f*cking around!

J can't rap for sh*t,

he needs to get hit!

Listen to me you braindead Juggalo f*cks,

they're controlling you and I know the turth sucks!

J is milking you of your money,

don't let that be!

Listen to some real rap,

not that Pshycopathic crap!

Screw Bang Pow Boom,

listen to some MF Doom!

Twiztid better stand clear,

or else they'll have something to fear!

You too Boondox,

or else I cut off you and J's cocks!

Juggalo for life,

why don't you stab yourself with a knife!

This is all I could think of for now. In the mean time, I'm going to go bash some Juggalos.
