The first album One for all was the best.

I agree. Some classic songs as well as the one that appeared in San Andreas. In God We Trust and Foundation were also good albums, I have not heard any other.

I wasn't saying all mainstream is terrible, I was pointing out to Cheat that the distain for modern rap Cheat thinks he sees, doesn't indicate our dials are stuck in the 90s. It's an issue people have with the mainstream.

Oh I see.

As for the issue of mainstream vs underground, well I'm pretty neutral in the argument because I listen to a mix of undergroud and mainstream which IMO is a healthy thing.

And there's no talk about Detox. Although Dre said it would come out after Eminem would release Relapse I'm still doubting it simply because not even a snippet of the album has come out or anything... correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not aware of any yet.

No, Detox is coming out after 50 cent's 'Before I Self Destruct' album, which, I think, is coming out after Eminem's Relapse 2

So, still a long way off

Well that Michael Jackson tribute song I posted a few pages back now has a video (a pretty good one as well) accompanying it if anyone's interested:

And that disrespectful punk DJ Skee isn't blaring out his name over this one either.

EDIT: It also shows The Game's new tattoo, which is of MJ.

That "disrespectful punk" has probably sold more records, has more fans and is probably more respected then you ever will be.

Selling more records doesn't mean sh*t. Sure it bigs up your name but that doesn't mean you are automatically respected by everyone. I mean Soulja Boy for instance sells a lot that doesn't mean he has talent or anything. I only brought up his name because he truly lacks any sort of talent for proper music or what he claims to do aka "hip hop".

Appeal to popularity fallacy?

That was a nice list. Rather than the obvious choices we saw some rarer names like Foesum and Twinz. Plus they were all good choices, Real Brothas is very underrated, one of the best albums of 95 if you ask me.

You seem to claim that was a joke once someone starts criticizing the song you've put up...

Either way, MC Chris is terrible, he sounds like a 5 years old girl.

Not necessarily the right way to express it. But it is close to it. Pre-teen little kids are new to music and think because it has a nice beat and something that makes them dance, it's good music...

Soulja Boy's music for making some music newbie or little kid dance is good but otherwise for anybody who listens to music for other reasons rather than clubbing then it's completely awful.

I'm not necessarily saying I hate DJ Skee. In fact he is one of the better DJs, as he tends to be less insistent on blaring sound effects and his name all over tracks. I just wanted to express my opinion that I though it was disrespectful to tag a track that is especially made for a music legend who has just died. The only reason I can see the reason for him doing this is to get more recognition, and I think that is tasteless due to the circumstance. Maybe calling him a 'punk' is going a bit overboard, but I felt I needed to vent how I felt and my opinion over the matter.

And great, he's done well for himself. Although it's not really my business, I have to respect him for that at least. And both Hitler and Bin Laden have been successful in what they have wanted to achieve, that doesn't mean they are necessarily good people, nor should they be respected tounge2.gif . I know that's a bit extreme for an example, but it relates.

EDIT: Holy fudge rappers:

"Jimmy always says, 'Man, I told you guys not to break up the Beatles. He says he told John Lennon the same thing a long time ago. But I was young, man. I was dumb. I did a lot of dumb things. I felt me and 50 clashed. I'm not gonna dis 50. I'm not gonna go back on the plane. He had his side, I had my side. I did what I felt was necessary for me and my career to have longevity and survive in hip-hop and music to be around when I'm Quincy Jones' age — not just be Quincy Jones' age, but be a Quincy Jones. Now, four albums in, I can honestly say from Banks to Buck to Dre to Yayo to whoever, if it would have kept going, endless paper. Millions of albums sold — because we were great together. Me and 50's chemistry was like how Method Man was to Redman when they get in. You know when Method Man gets with Redman, it's going down."

Game is fu*king retarded. After that whole G-Unot deal and he cops out by apologizing to the same guy he swore he would never make amends with.

Holy fudge indeed...

Can't wait for a response from 50 and/or affiliates.

BTW for some reason the link you provided is timing-out on me; here's a alternative article from HipHopDX.

I'm sure some of you are already aware of this, but Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II's artwork (with promotion and release date) has been announced - looks great! Can't wait for this to be released!

Sucks how he decided to release it on the same day as Fiddy's Before I Self-Destruct (and close to Jay-Z's Blueprint 3) - OB4CL2's sales will obviously be affected.

Lastly, I recently got DMX's Flesh of my Flesh, Blood of my Blood, which is my 1st DMX album. Automatically becomes one of my favorite rappers, and considering getting other DMX albums in the future. This is my favorite track from FOMFBOMB:

Even though I hate and demise Souljaboy amongst many others, I must respect what he's achieved. I take it, this second dream is being a VideoGames Designer? Now, where are those party hats at?

Debut Single off Slaughterhouse's up and coming album:

....and the video to Eminem's Beautiful:

MINOR EDIT: I had to change the first video as it was made private.
