Well I wasn't going to actually make the song, I just wrote the lyrics, that's all. But I hope I can be a Rapper some day.

While he is away from the spotlight as he is working on his new "The R.E.D." album, The Game says he plans to release a weekly mixtape series. "This summer, it ain’t a nigga that’s gonna out-mixtape me," Game told MTV. "I’m dropping a mixtape every week. It ain’t gonna be like no bullsh*t mixtape sh*t. I’m dropping mixtapes that sound better than people’s albums."

 

Game already has the first mixtape all planned out. "The first one is gonna be the Bloody Thumb with the red thumbprint on the front," Game says. When The Game drops his studio album, it will be his follow up to his 2008 "L.A.X." LP. "The R.E.D." will feature production from Cool & Dre.

He was, and then he changed his mind. I think that's good though, as his first album he was under 50's shadow and even during the second, 50cent was still being related to The Game. However the albums are good, but L.A.X and his early mixtapes prove that he can be allot more. 'R.E.D' stands for his re-dedication to Hip-Hop apparently, meaning we might hear some more deeper messages and views in this LP as well.

 

It's coming out Winter, just so you know.

Game has always been decent in my books. Not a huge fan nor having him that high up on my favorite rappers list but I've always rated him positively.

Oh. My. God. Ridiculous, in my opinion. I think The Clipse are so underrated. Their lyrics are so above what Weezy spits and they come harder than him too. The production is amazing too. I guess that's what you get for growing up with Pharrell. They have a mainstream/crossover ability but not as much as before with Lord Willin'. They are true lyricists and storytellers in this age of wack ringtone rappers and copy-cat Southern rappers. Malice and Pusha T are like the Raekwon and Ghostface of Virginia and of the new millennium.

Yep. That song ruined my day too. And this producer Solar or whatever his name is should take 1 step back and don't even try to produce anything for Guru because he's just ruining a legend's career.

 

Shame but we have to deal with it...

 

EDIT: This song is from the same album and to be honest Guru is still good at it.

 

 

 

Only problem is, he has decided to be a sellout and make commercial "radio appealing" singles like that song I posted with the use of autotune.

Manuva is great, he very much has his own dub-reggae influenced sound. Saw him live in October last year.
