Glad you f*ck with it, this song is too nice. Richie has a bunch of good beats (he did a fire one for Desiigner but he was awful on it) but I think this is the only one he's done that sounds like that.

And agreed lol, that tag is so common I expect to hear it everywhere now.

Here's a couple more songs with a space vibe to 'em. One is produced by the same guy that did the March Madness beat.

Is it just me or

Is Eminem's verse better than the entire Revival album?

I still like the original Chloraseptic, as well as Framed (besides the hook), Untouchable, In Your Head, Believe, Offended and maybe Heat but I honestly don't listen to anything else on this album.

After spending some time with Revival, I'd 100% agree with you on the songs you listed as the good songs (+Walk on Water, despite what everyone else says). Those are the ones I keep coming back to. I gotta say, I like the Framed hook though. It works with the goofy, psychotic nature of the song.

And yeah. His verse on the Chloraseptic Remix is f*cking crazy good. Its a shame that it takes so many, many people very vocally telling him his stuff is bad for him to fire back with something that comes close to that old passion he had. I've listened to this verse 50 something times in the last couple days. I really like it. But then if you think about it, all of his objectively best albums (SSLP/MMLP/TES), have been created off the back of him being criticised for the previous one, so its exactly in this arena that Eminem writes his best songs.

And it's not even just passion that the verse has. It's Em finally being given something to talk about for the first time since Recovery. They aren't just 90% empty lyrics in this one. He's addressing something he cares about (his work) very well.

Couldn't have said it better myself. When Eminem is under fire, he comes back in a tank. His greatest songs throughout his whole career were born through anger.

Campaign speech was also great but it was an easy target and I didn't feel like it was on a personal level, until he compared himself to Trump lol.

It's a bit ironic how he was ready to put his guns down on Revival and often mentioned that he simply has nothing left to surpass, he reached his peak a long time ago and simply can't find other rappers to compete against. Then a few people go "meh" and light that fire up under his ass, he responds with his best verse in YEARS. I even prefer it over his Medicine Man verse from the Dre collab.

Ever since MMLP2, I thought Eminem would continue to take his rapper skills beyond every limit (Rap God, Speedom, ect) where he simply focuses ob being the best lyricist there ever was and his rhymes become more technical than ever before. He succeeded at that, but it cost him a bit of his charm that he had in his best days.

This last verse brings everything back and shows that Eminem has still the potential to be the offensive, f*ck everybody kind of c*nt we all love. Hopefully those last few lines were hinting at another album coming. To end my post on a corny note, yes, I still believe in Eminem.

Oh and regarding Framed, I just don't like the fraaaaaaamed parts of the hook. Otherwise, I would've loved this track.

Was just looking through my old playlist and happened to stumble on this gem. Forgot how good The Roots were. Their lyrics were always top notch. Nothing like some old school hip-hop. Sh*t still bumps today as it did back in 96 :p

True but Cage did shine on Def Jux. Speaking of which I wonder when that new album is coming out, a few more years and he'll beat Despot with his album release promises.
