thegreatlordbadger
Hello, I have exported a piece of raod using MED, I import it into 3DS max 9 with Kams import script. I don't make any changes to it i just export it again and reload it with IMG tool 2. When I load it in game all the textures have gone dark? When a police car went over the piece of road I noticed that road started changing red/blue. Any one seen this before? Thanks! DexX
it looks like your exporting the object with normals, which you don't want to do with map objects. On Kam's tools, in the same area where the export options are, make sure that "Nor" is NOT checked. And since its a map objects that you imported, "Vcol" probably should be. Nor = normals, used for lighting a model in real time (as you drive over it for example). VCol = vertex colors, used for pre-lighting a model, "baking" in the light data (in 3dsmax, for example). thegreatlordbadger
Thanks that kinda worked. The texture appears correctly but when it goes dark it remains fully lit?!?
