does anyone know the name of the beaty spanish song with no words to it which plays on radio espantoso, i have listned to the clips from the soundtrack, on numerous websites including amazon.com where they give you audio samples, an di still cant find it, just wondored if anyone knows what song i'm talking about, and what its called?

I think the song's called Latin Flute by some guy called Eumir Deodato, but I could be wrong. I remember asking my friend what this "trumpet Latin crap" was when he was in a taxi doing missions and he told me this song, and if it's the one I think your on about, that's what it's called.

That's his name! Emir Deodato. He was also responsible for being musical arranger to Roberta Flack's 1970 Chapter II album. He also scored a huge smash hit in 1973 with his remake of Strauss's Also Sprach Zarathustra, from 2001: A Space Odysse.

Anyway, yes, the song is called latin flute from deodato but it cant be viewed on youtube. Try the mp3/Audio search on altavista. Just write in the song name, the artist, and search. Its not a well known search engine nowadays but its just as good .

Anyway, Deodato is also responsible for producing a couple of Mtume albums, namely the popular "Juicy Fruit", which has all his touches on it. The man was everywhere in both the 70s and 80s.
