Wow, this mod looks awesome! If you need anyone to do textures I'd be more than happy to help out. I'll also dust off my copy of MAX and try and get back into learning modeling . PM If you want/need to know anything else, anything to help get this mod out faster

New guy here...

 

This mod has really grabbed my attention. I have only tried the RealGTAIII mod for GTAIII, as there are not many other mods about (that i know of?) and this one looks like it will create a whole new experience in itself. Since i am waiting for my new GFX card (XFX GeForce 6600GT 256MB) i can only play on GTAIII smoothly, Vice City really is not an enjoyable experience with my current card. When i say not enjoyable, i mean having the draw distance up full, high resolution, etc... it adds to the game so much more! Also most mods out nowadays seem to be for GTA: San Andreas, which i can't play until i get my new graphics card.

 

Anyways, lol, good luck with the mod and keep up the good work!

More screenshots coming very soon, Ive gotten a couple more buildings done, Ive "rustisised" about 5 more cars, Ive got the new hud text, and a few other things. Oh yeah, and the new menus are done.

Nice mod, but heres some opinions.

 

The news paper is not called Liberty City News, it's LIerty bell

The stadium needs some colour in the seats, or shadows at lest.

Shouldn't the stadium be wrecked some more, even the goalposts?

The newspapers actually Liberty tree, and the title on it has been changed. The stadium was built before I knew about shading faces, but that had now been fixed too, and Im also planning to put some sort of refugee camp in the stadium

Use the edit button in future buddy .

Big update coming, Ive finished the new radar and Ive made it high res, Ive rustified another 15 cars and made a couple completley new ones, new hud and new menus and a new building

Here it is, the big update, work on twenty ten is picking up speed and great progress is being made, heres a taste of whats been done

 

The new radar has been updated with a topdown pic of liberty and the resolutions been doubled, heres a shot of the full thing

 

Another special car I decided to complete and put in

 

The new menus and loading screen is done

 

I dont know if you'd have noticed if I hadn't told you but the quality of the road has been upped by x4

Did you know that rockstar had high 256X256 textures on everything before they shrunk them before release? its a shame.

 

 

AND most importantly, work has began on the other part of this mod which is linking up ghost town to the rest of liberty and filling it out to a full town!

Well, it's a work in progress so I don't believe there is a release date, as of yet. Check the first page though, I might be wrong .
