Werid "glitch" (if you could call it that)

I was on my way to beat the game again, when i thought about keeping the S.W.A.T tank user posted image

on a garage to show my friends, i took the tank to the garage in Ganton. Parked the tank, and went back to the crack palace to beat the mission.

I beat the mission, credits come on... etc...

When I went back to the garage, i got dissapointed when the door opened just to show the empty garage. The tank dissapeared.

I don't know if someone had already tried this. I didn't find any topics about it.

This goes back to that old question mark pickup on GTAIII.

You can store cars here while not on a mission

Considering you did it while doing the last mission, it wasn't saved. Yes, I realize GTAIII and SA are two different games, but they carried this from GTAIII to VC, SA, LCS, ect.

Yeah, however that particular vehicle is only available during a missin and Vanshes as soon as the mission is over unless you fail it in a particular manner and have the vehicle in a "the game thinks it has been destroyed so there is no reason to remove it" issue. Interesting how it steals it away from you and even I have had this issue happen to me when I tried to find another way to get it. The "even I" is supposed to mean it must be common place however not everyone is as serious about collecting the cars as I am to be sure.

i parked Truth's van there when he gave me a mission because i wanted to keep it, and i checked it after few missions and it was still there, in grg on the beach. but after i done 2 more missions the van was painted white and it drove me mad sad.gif

that garage is glitchy, try a different one

Curiously in GTAIII (at least in the PC version) you could store things in the garage and reasonably reliably expect them to stay there after the mission, also putting a car in there while on a mission would repair it, but in San Andreas doing that doesn't work (possibly also VC, but I didn't play it enough to try it).

I read the whole special vehicle guide and it also had information about the Truth's camper.

I forgot to kill myself after parking the S.W.A.T tank in the garage suicidal.gif

@gillies....I can help you with that. A little trick I figured out by trial and error. Steal the better Mothership from the Black Project and get both versions of this BP/EP/FP/DP Mothership, one with the top thing up and one with it down. The two different versions are approach related.

Anyway the secret to save your paint job with this particular method is to keep the two Motherships in the same garage....They glitch less that way.

Edit: Whoops...I miss read and had a mental gasket pop and completely blended gillies and the previous posters posts together and replied to the wrong poster. notify.gifanuj_cop.gif
