Artist you were surprised that weren't used again.

Don't Stop til You get Enough could of well been mixed into Paradise FM well. I'm surprised for the second time about the lack of Duran Duran! The Reflex would of been a great Flash FM Song whilst Planet Earth a good Wave 103 song!

Michael Jackson would have been perfect...damn, he had great duets in both his Thriller and Off The Wall albums. Singing with great legends like Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and the list goes on. Though to be under the wing of the great Quincy Jones...that's amazing. Jones ruled the 80s scene, though... tounge.gif

Off topic: And by the way, I seen Duran Duran twice already with the original lineup in April of 2005 and August of that same year. Also, I had met JT at the Schubert Theater in May and that's awesome to meet him. He so cool to meet and so nice once you talk to him. I think I spoke to him for ten minutes and gotten his autograph.

Damn, yeah, Duran Duran would be great! I love 'em!

Anyway, I would have loved it even more if they had Kate Bush on the game, but, oh well... confused.gif

There should be:

-Michael Jackson

-Prince

-Kate Bush

-Duran Duran

-Siouxsie and the Banshees

-Wang Chung

-B-52's

-Soft Cell

-Level 42

-Stray Cats(I don't know in wich radio they would fit, but, damn, it would be awesome)

Thriller was released in late '82. The first hit and earliest singles off the Thriller album, "Wanna Be Startin' Something" and "The Girl Is Mine", came out right at the tail end of 1982. Then came "Billie Jean" and "P.Y.T", and all came out in mid 1983. The last and best single, "Thriller", came out when I was only a few months old... tounge2.gif I was three months when that video aired on MTV. My mother said that I was born when Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of The Heart" was first heard on the radio.

One thing about that "Planet Earth" vid is that Simon's dancing is so quissential 80s to me. Now we know where Molly Ringwald got those moves from... tounge2.gif

I don't know about artists, but I keep feeling it would've been sweet to have heard "Water On Glass," "You spin me right round (like a record)," "Der Kommissar" and "Mexican Radio."

Glass Tiger's "Thin Red Line" or Honeymoon Suite's "All along you knew" might've fared well on Emotion 98.

I could be wrong about the dates of these songs, though, but I'm just sayin.

Simple minds: Dont you forget about me

Soft Cell: Tainted love

Europe: the final countdown

INXS:your one of my kind (instead of the song its got now)

BLONDIE:call me (instead of heart of the glass)

BRian Adams:summer of 69

Durran Durran: hungry like the wolf

Sorvivor:eye of the tiger

billy idol:hot in the city wink.gif

gorgio moroder:Right combination

Rick James: superfreak

Hmm, that would of been slightly out in the game, if it had a Simple Minds song it definetly should of been New Gold Dreams (81-82-83-84).
