DoteStudios
I made a 3d model by just deleting polygons on a working player face model for GTA SA. But when I export it with Zmodeler and put it in the game replacing it with cs_head.dff (the original mod replaced this) it doesn't work. I may be exporting it wrong. When exporting in zmodeler all you have to do is click export and choose GTA SA DFF and have GTA SA selecter right? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? The model I edited didn't lose anything important I made sure also the original model always works just not when I edited it. I only deleted polygons. YeTi
Zmodeler doesn't support player models, if you want to edit player models you'll need to use a different program such as 3DS Max. DoteStudios
Zmodeler doesn't support player models, if you want to edit player models you'll need to use a different program such as 3DS Max. Thanks but how do you map skins in 3ds max? Also when you import the dff file into 3ds max there is only one model that appears is that alright? Also what should the export scale size be and what should be selected? When I export it says: The object is not skinned correctly. Skin modifier must be on the topmost of the stack!! DoteStudios
Here's a good place to start: The Simplest Rigging Tutorial in the Universe The thing no longer is shown. Now it says: Skin modifier not found when I try to skin it. Don't mean to be annoying. I just want to know: 1) How to skin it with this problem:Skin modifier not found 2) If I have to make a model for fat, normal, and ripped why can I only select one when exporting. 3) Why is there a cs_head.dff and a head.dff file? Do I need to replace both with the same thing? 4) What the export size should be. DoteStudios
werent they already grouped when you imported them?? No because you have to import one clump at a time also when I export it it comes out as Ripped and I realized there is a box to choose which head you want (ripped, fat, normal), but how do I get them all as one and working.
