GrandMaster Smith Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 So I've had my computer for nearly 12 months now, and my one year subscription to Norton AntiVirus is going to expire in 20 somethin days. So I've read on Oblivion Forums that Norton is basically a pos. It hogs up your all your cpu trying to run it, doesn't work well, and of course, there's much better programs out there. Not the McAfee I have, it eats up my CPU usage and doesn't even scan/let me scan for virus's. Just asks if I want to "clean up" my PC by deleted lesser used files. I had Avast and was pretty impressed with it, the only reason I switched was my subscription f*cked up and I had to buy another years worth after i'd had it for about month. Oh well. Trys to take over everything and is constantly giving you color coded alerts. Orange: you may or may not be using files And what the f*ck is with its gui, do you really need to color blind someone for using your software!?
