omega_c
What he means is this: Go to "My Documents" You should see a folder called GTA Vice City User Files. Doubleclick on that folder You'll see a file called gta_vc.set, as well as your save game files, if you have managed to play the game before. Delete the gta_vc.set file, then try to open the game again. If that doesn't work, I suggest looking for the latest video card drivers.

Wency
so, lets say i have a problem updating my drivers, there is other way to play it?
omega_c
What problem are you having with updating the drivers? If that's the problem, I'm not sure how else you could play the game, bar buying a new card. I did a few searches for drivers, but all I could come up with were Ubuntu help forums . Can you not find drivers for it?
Spuds725
There have been quite a few threads posted without the required help info. and we have become lax in not asking for this... please post the info requested in this (pinned) thread http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=114840 This will save everyone time as the same questions won't have to be asked every time. and take a look at the pinned bug list also before posting... Justin
There have been quite a few threads posted without the required help info. and we have become lax in not asking for this... please post the info requested in this (pinned) thread Bah, I'm not lax, I just take the point of view that if someone's not bothered enough to search or even read a pinned topic, they don't deserve our help.
