gangstaog Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 hey everyone, im having problem while updating my san andreas, im from australia and i bough the original game, ive downloaded au patch and ive tryed to update it but on 10% of the installation it crashes and the error says: "Old file not found. Unless you want to eliminate the possibility of Hot Coffee/modding ever occurring on your game, there's little point. You'll get that error message whenever you've got an executable that differs from the one the patch was made for. The problem might well lie in that you have an Australian version (like me - although the Australian patch should address that...) Are you using a crack of any sort? Is that something the patch addresses, or are you one of those people who encounters an error and thinks "gee whiz, the patch surely will fix this"? gangstaog Posted February 25, 2007 Author Share Posted February 25, 2007 (edited) well im not one of those who thinks that it will help for sure... it said it in the read me lol, anyways ive cracked it to 1.01 but still can't load saved games(yes i started new game) and i haven't tryed 1.00 one... :S edit: ive just tryed 1.00 and it worked!! anyway thx a lot for helping anyways man i appreciate that edit2: alrite, im playing sa on my bro's comp, well its cuz im having trouble with running it on my comp i think its cuz of my graphic card or something but im not sure so thats why im asking it now, well its a laptop which is really anoying and im gonna get my self a comp soon, anyways : 2.66ghz 703mb's ram sis 650 64mb's (i dont think its compatible with direct x,thats probly why it doesn't work i think...)
