kingmohd84
Hello Every one... please help to finish this game...it is starting to get really frustrating.. I am stuck at the flying school test where i have to take a circle around the airstrip and then land. Its too difficult...it is almost impossible for me to do it, the controls are not helping at all. I am sure i tried it over a 100 times at least. I tried to find another way to pass it. I read on the internet that you can take the shamal from los santos airport, where i found a dodo too, and fly it for 35 min and then you will get the license. I took the shamal and crushed like 3 times i have been wasted. on the last time I took the shamal, and flew for like 45 min with no crashing, i got a full flying skill meter but no pilot license...please help, its a really nice game, but this is getting really frustrating.... I am playing sand andreas on 360 console, i finished gears of war twice while i am trying to pass this flying test....please find me another way...i didnt want to cheat, but i think i can go on with the game without the need for this particular frustrating test
crazyanurag
hello, and welcome to GTAF ...for future assistance and convenience, please make note of the Search tool... first off, don't worry about getting stuck at the Flying School too much...it happens with most everyone, so don't let it get to you...anyhow, about the test, there's nothing much you can do really in terms of an alternative strategy...you'll have to finish this test and the rest of the Flying School to progress in the storyline... flying around with the planes from the airports would also slowly raise your Flying Skill, and would eventually give you a Pilot's License, but the only utility of this is that entry into the airports would no longer be restricted to CJ...other than that, you're still looking at the Flying School for any progress... here's what i suggest: start the test, and once in control of the Rustler, take it for a spin and get used to its controls and behaviour...it gets easier if you're not putting pressure on yourself to go through loops while sticking to a time...just get accustomed to the Rustler's movements, and then you'll find the going much easier... crazyanurag
the thing is that i read u can get a license by driving a shamal for 25 min , its like a cheati started to hate the game for this its almost impossible i'm not sure what you mean by that , but yes, you can get a Pilot's License if you have an uninterrupted flight of around half an hour...you see, the more you spend time in a vehicle, CJ's Skill Level for handling that particular vehicle increases, and the increments are shown at the top left hand of your screen...once you've flown for about half an hour or so, you get enough increments to you Flying Skill to earn a Pilot's License, that's all...however, don't go by the total Flight Time (as recorded in the Stats), but look at how much you can fly at once, without crashing or getting Wasted... batmanhill6157
The thing that you need to know while flying is that most planes are really sensitive to the analog, just make sure to relax and use slow movements. Then also try to use the yaw (R2 L2) to your advantage. What I think you should do it get a plane and fly as high as you can and just flip and roll until you feel comfortable
kingmohd84
HAHAHAHAHA I DID IT I DID IT AT LAST HAHAHAHAHAHA damn ...the rockstar should be highly critisized on the weak control system... the helicoptor was even worse... Any how, for those who might still suffer although the game got old. THis is how i did it. on the xbox version ****************************** -Steal the Shamal from Los Santos Airport, drive it until u get full flying skill bar. u can do a little bit every day, or something like 30 min at one shot. -get back to the flying school, dont go through the circles, just play around with the plane until get the feeling for it. -do the landing test again and again in first person(hit "back" button for it) -turn the view into first-person(it is ALOT easier, but might get you dizzy), when you get close to the last circle, release you landing gear....adjust speed by decreasing, you have to get to the red marker in 1:35 seconds. ************** thanx every one for all the help, i finished gears of wars 3 times on all level before i got to finish this frustrating test.
