marcandrehamelin Posted February 23, 2007 Share Posted February 23, 2007 I was in the gym in Las Venturas and when i walked out of the door my computer completely crashed, i am having to use my laptop now, because whenever i turn my computer on it gets stuck on a disk reading page with all these colourful symbols flashing so now my computer doesnt work! Seems like hardware problem to me. Could be something simple like a messed up CD drive, or something more serious like motherboard issues... Can you access the BIOS? If so, check the temperature, maybe something is too hot and the computer is getting messed up. You know, GTA might've been only the spark that caused all of this, it doesn't mean your computer is screwed up because of it. The message says that the fan connected to the CHA1 port is spinning too slowly or maybe not at all. Whatever that is, go check that. And it also says... no IDE cable? Check if all the IDE cables are properly installed... By the way, BIOS is where you configure lots of hardware-related things. I guess the default key to access it is "delete", but if I'm not mistaken it may vary from one system to another. Usually a message appears during the boot saying "Press X key to enter BIOS".
