Raptomex
I like the vigilante missions in the game. I enjoy the challenge of chasing them down the streets and them shooting back at you. But do any of you find it almost impossible to survive these vigilante missions after level 15 unless you have a tank? It seems to me when I get close, they shoot, and my vehicle is practically destroyed. Tires are popped, the engine is releasing dark smoke, and/or your body armor has been reduced. I liked how they carried it over from San Andreas. But what made it more "fair" in San Andreas was the fact that your gang members can shoot back. This doesn't happen in VCS. params7
The homies in San Andreas slowed me down in Vigilante, I was when criminals just shot them lousy mofo's. Vigilante's one of the most challenging part of GTA games. You get to chase down hardcore criminals and in the process you are free to gain police warnings. I could complete Vigilante in Police Cruiser/Wintergreen in VCS after level 8. Had to get a tank! It was so amazingly fun. I got a 6 star level warning, jacked a tank, turned vigilante, and completed levels 8-15 with 6 star warning and tanks and FBI trucks and Choppers chasing me all throughout the city, but the time I completed the missions, my Highest Media Attention rose to 'International Crisis'. Raymond Luxury-Yacht
Is the undercover Cheetah still available in VCS as a vehicle in which to do Vigilante missions? Do the 'Miami Vice' cops still show up in their Cheetah at 3 wanted levels? Or can you still find the car hidden someplace in Little Haiti? Anyhow: With the Undercover Cheetah, and preferably the minigun, vigilante missions are as easy to do as with a Rhino. Not only the speed of the car gives you a great advantage in catching up with the criminals and laying ambush on them, but also, you can get rid of the wanted stars simply by driving into pay'n'spray. Is that still available in VCS? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/267953-the-vigilante-missions/#findComment-4065615 Share on other sites

The VCPD Cheetah comes out between 3, 4 and sometimes 5 stars if I'm right. Snake Without a Tongue
Is there a Hunter in VCS? Doing Vigilante missions would be a lot more fun without the time limit. Just add more perps to make it dangerous. I hate having to rush things. The only time I've been able to do VM without using a Hunter or Tank was in SA using a motorcycle, but then I got stranded out in the desert with a blown up cycle and couldn't find another vehicle. That also sucks. You should be able to just use any vehicle after initiating VMs. Oh, well. It's fun in the hunter to use to machine guns and see a tiny silent POP! of fire on the ground where the guy's car explodes.
