San Andreas was never really set on an arbritrary month. All that was said about it was that it was set in 1992, in no specfic month. So for all we know it could have been in October when it started, or April. It's all on what the gamer believes. But it is known for a fact, it is set in 1992.

good lookin out man. yea, because i always wondered...i guess ima go by tha first day he came like thas January 1...so wen i finally reach 365 i can say its 1993 lol

As far as I know it's January you can see it on one of the missions you get after you buy Wang Cars (I can't remember which one) you can see in the cutscene that there is a calendar inside the garage on a wall, plus when you go to Liberty City on "Saint Mark's Bistro" the weather is snowy there.

And that the LA Riots (which the LS Riots were based off) started officially on April 26th '92, so GTA:SA probably started early '92.

The story line takes place, I think, over a very short period of time, like a month or so, even if the seasons change from winter to summer and back in the cutscenes.
