Otter
"Forgive me father... for I have sinned. A lot." Yep, that about sums the film up. I saw it on a lark last night - aside from some nifty effects here and there, this is hands down the worst film of the year. A whole plethora of razzies, I'm sure. Anyone else venture in to see this steaming pile of crap?
Canofceleri
I had a chance to go see it with some friends, but I knew to stay away from this one. A comic book movie has to be badass to get me in (like V For Vendetta).
Vanilla Shake
I saw this film, and I can't agree with you more Otter. How do they call this a movie? I for one am hoping that Spider-Man 3 is way better than this piece of dog-poo. TC718 / <629 / CF5
Haifaiv
Nicholas Cage deserves to be ambushed on the way to his car, have a choloform rag shoved in his face and be taken to a backstreet abortion clinic where he will be restrained while a drunk ten year old kid with one eye hastily fits an air valve into his scrotum. Then he will be suspended from a crane in Times Square with an electric tire pump (fitted with a remote) attached to the valve on his nutsack. His manpurse will then be ever so slowly inflated until it pops. Oh how the people will laugh. Oh how he will scream and bleed. Oh how everyone will probably just leave him up there, maybe throwing the odd lawn dart or wad of used toilet paper at him. It shall be glorious. Look at this montage from The Wicker Man. I don't know if it's real, I didn't dare see that piece of smegma, but I do know that out of context, this sh*t is hilarious: CAGE IS AN AWESOME ACTOR
Canofceleri
Cage a good actor? I don't really have faith in actors anymore. Cage was good in Adaptation, but he was working with really good material. Adam Sandler? In Punch-Drunk Love he was the sh*t, but you'd be hard pressed to find anything else worthwhile from him (unless it's a cheesy teen comedy). The rest of the movie was poop. I hated the "fight" scenes in Ghost Rider. They last what...2 seconds?
TheDude5000
Well I think Cage is actually a good actor, and he has been praised for many performances, including those in "Leaving Las Vegas" and "The Weatherman". But I've been hearing pretty bad things about this flick. Never was interested in Ghost Rider, I'm more of a Spider-Man kinda guy.
XxDarkxPsychicxX
I was going to see this film but it looked kinda crappy in my opinion. Instead I saw Norbit, and I have to say, I think I made the right choice. My friend saw this movie and said it was good, but that's only because he likes Marvel. ~P.O.L.I.C.E~
Well, if Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler was the main guy in this movie it would have been better
uNi
I enjoyed the film, but I think the parts where Cage did as the "normal" rider just sucked.
TonyZimmzy
Why would they cast Nicholas Cage in this movie? When I saw he was in it I gave up hope. Don't plan on watching it atall.

That was Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne. Anyways I "enjoyed" the movie. Most of it wasn't good but I really did like the scenes where he was the Ghost Rider. TOGA62
i agree it was pretty bad. I found myself laughing at a lot of the "serious" stuff in it, and some of the lines they were saying were so bad. One part I remember was when ghostrider met the main bad guy for the first time. The bad guy said something along the lines of "You going to take me for a trip?" In which ghost rider replied. "I'm taking you down." while pointing toward the ground. WOW LAME. The action parts were good, but otherwise everything else was dumb. And what was with the damn pointing! Social: TOGA62 PS3: balltowellamp
Otter
Hahahah the pointing was classic. I have to say that I knew Cage would be bad in this film - not because I think he's a bad actor, but because I know he loves comics so much that he wouldn't do anything BUT campy. And I loved watching him love to be corny. It's a shame the rest of the film wasn't built around the same principle.
fox09
Half the movie was cleavage. The other half was Nic Cage's wood-plank acting. "Sorry, I'm all out of mercy" Evil Dead-worthy.

Dup
Personally I think Cage has done some very good films, especially the older ones. I wouldn't call them classics but I find them enjoyable to watch. Both myself and my girlfriend enjoyed Ghost Rider. Again, not a classic but certainly entertaining on an evening in. saintdave
Just got back from the cinema now and I was impressed. I’m no comic book geek but I am familiar with most Marvel characters, all except Ghost Rider. I knew the theme but wasn’t aware of most of the story but I thought the film explained and expanded on it nicely, I liked the acting, the special effects were awesome and Eva Mendes was boob-a-licious 8 out of 10.
