darryldaniel
Hi, I have absolutely no idea how to mod, but I am going to learn. One thing I wanted to know first however, is what I want to do possible? Here's what I want to do. Create a series of missions for GTA 3 that are police based. Traffic stops, arrests, responding to calls. I would like to include the following: -Announcement of the call by a mission dot on the map, and a sound file played (police radio) -Arrest (handcuffing) of the suspects, ticket issued, or shooting -Transporting the suspect to jail. -dialogue on the missions. -A call for backup makes other police officers respond. -Police never chase you. -Ambulance or Fire Truck request makes them come from nearest station. -skin with a police uniform that includes a belt (not a texture but a prim belt) -police lights and sirens turn on seperately -Police lights + sirens make cars pull over to the right and stay there. -Drivers exit thier vehicles upon request -Police cars don't try to ram other vehicles off the road. Instead they chase them until they stop, deploy spike strips, etc. -AI Police are actually doing stuff, pulling people over, responding to calls, parked at businesses with lights on. -Peds are much less willing to fight I would be willing to pay someone to do this for me. I know that's not what its all about here, but somehow I think coding the game will take all the fun out of playing it. I'd much rather play it than learn to code. However if this is possible, and I cannot find anyone to do it then I will do it myself. I have downloaded the mission editor. Any recommendations on a really really easy intro to Mission Modding? sleeper777
Did you attempt to read the pinned topics in the Mission Coding Forum? There are several Tutorials in the pinned threads above as well as in the tutorial forum. Tutorial Links and Mission Coding Information Tutorial Forum First read and then attempt to try some of the things you want. some of them are very possible others i am not sure about but the only true way to know is to try for yourself. Many of the Coders here are working on various projects that require a lot of their time so offering to pay is probably not going to persuade much help, but who knows. Y_Less
1) Why did you post this twice? 2) Turn off caps, they don't help at all. 3) If you want to learn to code read the mass of information about, there's loads of tutorials, there's multiple topics here and a whole subforum devoted to them. 4) Emulate original code. 5) If you don't want to learn, post in the requests forum. 6) Locked.
