boomshine blowout

I am stuck on boomshine blowout and blow up everytime while trying to retrieve the last crate. I know I have to keep trying but I want to take a break from it and try another mission but is doesn't show any other missions(letters). Does that mean that I have to beat boomshine to get any additional missions? I know this probably sounds stupid but I am about ready to chuck the game!

You do need to complete this mission in order for other mission strands to open and for the game to continue. Best method for completing this mission is listed here.

You know the saying "Practice makes perfect"? Not only is it true, but it is outright necessary you are PERFECT on this mission to pass it. I'll agree they made this one just a little too difficult. But don't chuck the game! Rather bounce back and forth from trying the mission to doing side missions, exploring, etc. Attitude is everything.

Exactly. I tried this and failed it about 4 times the night i got VCS. I left it alone, went back to it the next day, figured out the path i needed to take (which is necessary given the awkward camera angle you play with and how tough the driving can be form the norm in this mission), failed once more, tried again knowing the right way to go and badda-bing, i was passed it and on to other missions. Keep at it, you'll get there.

I failed that mission 3 times, but as they said. Keep trying. Sometimes when I'm stuck on a mission for a LONG time, I take a long break to cool down. Sometimes I play again in another 4 hours, do something else until the next morning, or even play the other GTA's for a week. Keep trying you will get it

I actually beat it TWICE

 

Something weird happened while I was cruising back to Phil's Place the first time. Just when the news alert came on the radio, my game froze. Needless to say I was pretty ticked off.

Beat it first try.

Just barely, though. You just have to memorize the route you take each time parts of the building collapse.

Too true.

 

This one took me about four goes, and it's really hard to get back into it straight away after failing once or twice. I gave it a night and hit it the next day with renewed vigour. Worked a charm.
