I can wait for it, because the longer it takes, the better it will be. (hopefully) I will agree though, that 2 was a little hyped, but still, I think that won't be the case with Halo 3. From what I've seen so far, it looks like this will be a game that will be played for many years after release. (I'm talking 10-15 years after since this is supposed to be the last Halo) By the way, there couldn't have been a better time to make this topic. It may be a little early in the year before it's release, but it really shouldn't matter from the way I see it. To be honest, I really hope they took a lot of time for the campaign this time. One had a good one, but two's just failed to meet standards. AlianAnt Posted February 21, 2007 Share Posted February 21, 2007 Wellp.... Halo 3. The big one. I loved Halo 1 with a passion. When I frst got it, I played every day for at least 8 hours. When I got Halo 2 I was really dissapointed with the single player, but multiplayer was still awesome (although not quite as awesome as Halo 1). As for Halo 3..... I regress to the Metal Gear Solid series. MGS1 was unbelivibly awesome. It was the first game I beat in one sitting, pulling an all-nighter to do. Then we rember the hype surrounding MGS2 and were so excited to play. And then we did and said "Who the f*ck is this blonde hair'd loser?" Needless to say, we were dissapointed. My problem with online, apart from the gameplay (see next para), is the huge abundance of 12 year olds with attitude problems. I can't even utter a sentence without getting "OH MY GOD UER BRITISH, WANT A CUP OF TEA?" from some preteen yank. So any chance of team work on team games has gone straight out the window. Yeah you can find the odd one or two who are friendly, but the majority are twats who yell down the mic. So to me it's got a stigma of a kiddy game for Americans who are tunnel visioned and have attitude problems. Probably far from the truth, but that's what's happened with the hours I've played. But the game play, I dislike the jumping about miles into the air and shooting rounds upon rounds into people. Also the characters don't appeal to me, it's just all a bit silly to me. Well RMT, In Halo three Xbox Live multiplayer there is a button which Bungie calls "The A-Hole Button". which silents players who are being jerk offs. Well, actually, you can do that on Halo Two, just turn the shields off, not so much with the gravity but hell, the easier to shoot noobs with.
