GFX for VC threads

Hi everyone.

 

If possible, I'd like one graphic, as outline below, to be used in two topics. I will, of course, host it, etc, and you will be recognized in the topic as a contributor .

 

Here are the two topics

 

 

 

Name:

 

Size: 756 x 479 (that was the size of the old one in the caption contest)

 

Theme: I'd like for this to have a shot a Tommy from the front (so you can see his face) with a sunset + palm trees in the background. Maybe someone in a bikini... Use your imagination  . Please have it fit with the whole '80s theme that Vice City has.

 

Resources: Preferably with the font used in the old logo (in the caption contest logo)

 

Colors: White, black, sunset colours... something along those lines.

 

Additional info: Have it say Vice City in the bottom right hand corner, (in that bolded font) with the words half off the image, if you see what I mean.

Please use the correct layout.

 

 

Name: If you want a name on your graphic, state it here. Whether it's your username or something different. On the other hand, if you don't want a name on it, also say so here.

 

Size: Put the size of graphic wanted.

 

Theme: Put an extended description of the theme you want. Including positions of anything and everything, and text that you want included.

 

Resources: Post links to any logos, screenshots, or fonts you'd like.

 

Colors: Color scheme you'd like.

 

Additional info: Anything additional you want added/done.

 

Failure to use this layout will result in a lock.

I threw together a logo, but I'm not that happy with it.

Can someone do better?

This isn't what you asked for and despite this being one of the objectives of the "format" everyone loves so much they have to post in here to tell everyone to use it all the time, I am not entirely clear on what text you wanted on here. But maybe you can use this for it until someone makes something better.

I took what you did, and changed it a bit (took out the pink on the left + cleaned up the edges).

Here is the result:

 

I won't use this until you say it's OK, because I don't want to just mess with it and... well, yeah, its just not nice

I tried something else with the "puzzle pieces" thing they have on all the boxes, it's a bit rough but not too bad I think. If you want the text changed or anything let me know.

Excellent work gillies, I prefer the transparent one over your other one. Both are good, though.

 

@gta_talk, I always find that adding a border to most GFX work makes it look a whole lot more appealing, maybe it's just me. it looks cool I guess.

It is simple but effective. I thought the transparent one would be the one omega_c would be more likely to use, but I like it with the white background like the LCS (or whichever one looks like that) box.
