Grandthefter
I hated the blitzball in FFX, so annoying. FFXII is a great game though, i think im near the end of it now but im too busy leveling up trying to get more espers/weapons etc just so i can rinse the last boss. The battle system in XII has been the best i've played so far easily. Looking foward to XIII too, hopefully i'll have a PS3 by the time it's out or it goes multi-platform. Mark
FFX was the last one I played and the only one I started and didn't finish. I just couldn't relate to the world or main character at all and the blitzball minigame wasn't half as immersive (for me) as the card trading game in previous outings. FF:Tactics followed very closely by FFVII for me. Actually Tactics is quite fun I agree with that. FFVII was the best but it's still not as good as it could have been. It was unfinished ffs. Mind you, leaving Aeris dead was probs a good idea, unlike the proposed revival of her. EDIT: 6000th post. Yay.
TommyAngelo
FF7 > all. Seriously. f*ck this "overrated" sh*t it's getting.
GTA3Freak-2001
Last Final Fantasy I played and enjoyed was FF IX, I didn't mind X but it didn't have the same charm as the others. I was actually going through my old PSX games as someone was interested in buying them when I found VI, VII, VIII, and IX. I can tell you I kept them from the expectant buyer. Mark
Haha, I kept my FF6, 7 and 8 as well. 9 Was so rare and I needed the money that I decided to sell it. It actually got more more on trade-in than GTA Vice City did! lol. Thing with 9 is that I just got depressed with all the f*cking fog. Nae fair. I loved Linblum or whatever it was called though. Doink
I have only played part of 5, 6, all of 7,8, 10, and some of 12. My favorite so far has been 8. It's the only FF I bothered to do all the extra stuff in, heh. I liked the overall setting and story.
Werleman1
I've only played FFX and X-2 and i must say they are very good games. They should realy make like a FF x-3 cause it's a great game. my girlfriend has them all and plays them in front of me but i can't realy seem to get into them as much. darkmessiah
i think ffx was a good game. x-2 helped to fill in alot of holes and i think a x-3 would complete it. i dont know why people dont like x or x-2. their good games overall.
Statutory Ray
i think ffx was a good game. x-2 helped to fill in alot of holes and i think a x-3 would complete it. That would be fine if they couldn't have wrapped up the story with just X. Unfortunately, with voice acting, comes a lot of pointless dialog. Just by using voice acting instead of making people read the story, they effectively cut the real length of the game in half while in actuality ADDING time and wasting space. They added more gameplay by making every optional side-quest or mini-game that has nothing to do with the story completely long, repetitive, and tedious. Even then, to complete the game wholly it takes about the same amount of time that Final Fantasy Tactics takes to beat the main story. Other than that, I thought X had a pretty good story, although the characters seem to lack substance.
