reoutbreak
Problem for Grand theft auto san andreas second edition Hello, this is my first post here, and soon to be many more if my situation get sorted out. ok let me start off with my problem. I know many people have been having the same problem as I(after the nvidia screen, my computer screen goes black/or purpleish) So I have to ctrl+alt+del out. I also have another problem, Some of the eariler posts in this forum started "see if you can play the movies in the "movie" folder inside the gta sa folder, If you can't gta sa won't work. I tried playing both of them, but as soon as I click on it, my computer lags or somthing, It gets pretty bad I can hardly move the mouse, So I have to restart my comp to get rid of it. So I'm thinking im missing a codec or somthing, but I tried installing them and it did not help. I've also reinstalling the game many of times, and upgraded all of my drivers. I even tried some of the "solutions" in some other topics. I will list my computers specs now: Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.93GHz DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce 6200 DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Display Memory: 256.0 MB Current Mode: 1024 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz) Driver Name: nv4_disp.dll Driver Version: 6.14.0010.9371 (English) If you guys need any infromation that I could provite I would be happy to help. I just really want to play this game >.< Oh, and other thing. This is not a fake version of the game, I bought it at my local eb games.
gillies
Try a graphics driver version older than about 84.xx, some of the newer drivers break the 2d overlays for the 7x00 series, maybe it affects the 6x00 series as well. This shouldn't really affect games but since you mention not being able to play movies for some reason it could be worth a try.
