_-playero-_
Concordantly with the "Anyone on Vista yet?" Topic, I ask you; Anyone on Office 2007 yet? I bought the Professional Edition. I like the new interface, and they are definitely faster and more responsive. With the exception of Outlook 2007. Outlook 2007 is very slugish, opening emails is a very stressing task compared to Outlook 2003 and Express. I've come across some forums with people having the same problem and no solutions so far. I think it's a shame since Outlook if probably the most important part of Office, in my opinion. The other problem I have is the new format. Every application saves as Office 2007 document by default (Word 2007, PowerPoint 2007, etc) and this is a problem when going to another computer with a lower version. I think compatibility mode should be on by default. Anyways, anyone on Office 2007 yet?
Waddy
Hi mate, Im running Vista Ultimate, with office 2007. Really like the new format of Word and Excel, works with all my old files aswell. Something I did notice though is it isnt as fast as previous versions. Very nice to look at though. I dont use outlook but im sure there are some d/loads on the way for the whole of MS new products. gillies
I had the trial of it a while ago but it weirded up and I couldn't get it to work again. The new UI is alright, but I have grown weary (not wary ) of "activation" so I decided to move to OpenOffice.org for my own things, it is basically the same as the old versions of Microsoft Office except a few places where it falls down, and so far I have only found limitations in the spreadsheet area.
