All-Blacks Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 I find GTA3 the hardest to get 100% out of all the GTA's thus far, although its relatively short compared to the latter games, its flippin' challenging! You need a lot of patience for it, there are so many ways of screwing up for the 100% (just to name a few ie-Killing Kenji for Donald Love before finishing his missions, Killing Salvatore before finishing Joey's and Luigi's missions, finishing Portland without getting all the Hidden Packages and extra side missions before you leave as it will be impossible afterwards as the Mafia and Triads keep shooting at you! That Purple Nines glitch can be a bitch on the PS2 version if you go through the storyline missions with no knowledge of it. That means you'll most likely need to delete your file(s) and start a fresh game, happened to me before. As for 100%, you get absolutely nothing. The game doesn't even notify you of achieving a complete game. Like Dave said, the only rewards for this are the extra pick-ups and other bonuses you acquire in the process.
