Gangland the Game

Wow, I just got the game for PC, some glitches here and there(can be fixed with patches), but screw reviews. Get to control gangs, what guns they own, how the ranks are filled in, and taking and controlling fronts, freaking awesome, anyone else have this game?

 

My low ranked members have Uzi's while my top members have big machetes. I control resturants, and have a kid whose my Underboss.

I've read about this game a little bit, and am honestly intrigued. From what I've read, it seems to have been realized too early and could still use some updates; than again, people that review are just people with opinions too.

 

tvman - If you really like the game, and want to give it a good spin so that people don't get thrown off by bad reviews, you should go to the pinned topic in Gaming Chat about the reviews and follow the format all of those use and do your own review of Gangland.

I foudn this game at goodwill, yes I went there and yes its good for computer games that are new! haha I really didn't like it much but it seemed cool at first, but its not my type of game! It was fun for awhile like I said but eh 6.7/10 is what i give it!

I've also got this game. It's great fun at first but it gets really old, boring and repetative after a while. I'd give it 6/10.

I like the game, but I think the developers probably didn't take their time as the date the game was released neared, without patches 7/10. with 1.4 patch 9.5/10

Alright, I know this a big bump, but we need your guys help!

 

To the people who don't know what Gangland is it's a mix between RTS, RPG and Action games from 2004 by MediaMobsters. You're one of the four brothers of the same family. Your brothers have killed you uncle Vinny. Now you're after them (very simple story, f*ck yeah!).

 

Basically before you can start shooting some bastard, you'll need to take over different businesses. You can use the products these business create to make deals (all over the phone). Once you got enough money you can hire in all kind of assassins and super units. In the main story you play as Mario. In skirmish you can play as any of the four brothers. You got to expand the family by marrying a wife and use her only for baring children (f*ck yeah, again!). The children become underbosses. Anyway eventually you start shooting stuff, as long as you have enough ammo, medpacks, dynamite and gas and as long as you stay in cover. Here's some gameplay:

They're thinking about developing a sequel, however they want to get 10k likes to show how much support there is for the game (to attract publishers), that's their idea anyway.

this game isnt my type, infact i honestly hate genres like this where its sky view and u cant have the actions yourself and i probrably wouldnt give a sh*t if gangland releases a pt 2 or not

You never played it, so all your arguments are invalid.

 

"Genres like this" - After explaining a genre to be a point of view, without knowing you could zoom in and put the camera where ever you want.

 

Hilarious.

 

Despite your idiocy, it would be just as kind as to let them continue their work, we all gotta have work to do (unless you still live with your parents). Maybe they'll end up with a game you do like.
